God’s Grace Recruits Messengers of the Gospel.
“I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace
given me through the working of His power.”
Ephesians 3:7
Paul was feared by the followers of Christ. It was Paul’s job to round them up, throw them in jail, and even kill them. After Paul’s conversion, he calls it God’s gift of grace to allow him to be in the service of the Gospel of Christ. That is what God’s grace is all about, forgetting about how terrible of a person I am and putting me to work for the Testimony of Jesus Christ. God’s grace is like that for everyone, as soon as we come to Jesus Christ, we are immediately put into the service of the Gospel. It begins with a very simple message, I found God threw Jesus Christ. The purpose of God’s grace is to make a person a witness for Jesus Christ.
“Just as I am, without one plea,
But that thy blood was shed for me,
And that thou bidd’st me come to thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.“
(Church Hymn)
God’s Grace Given to Make the Gospel Known.
“Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me:
to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,
and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery,
which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.”
Ephesians 3:8-9
It doesn’t matter how much of a nobody that I am, nor how much of a disgrace that I am, and it doesn’t even matter how much of a failure I’ve been in this life. The only thing that matters is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God overlooks my miserable life today and overlooks my miserable past because now I believe God and have something to say about Jesus Christ. That is God’s grace. God wants to spread the word of His Salvation plan through Jesus Christ, and when we do that, we are right with God.
What Paul did is not a fable. The Bible that is all over the internet, all around the world, and in my living-room relates to his call into the ministry of Jesus Christ. Paul refers to himself as the least of God’s people, deserving of the worst possible punishment for his persecution of the followers of Christ. Yet, by God’s grace he began to tell everyone about the Salvation that comes through Jesus Christ. He tells the world about Christ being the fulfillment of prophecy, of His death, His resurrection, and of eternal life. Paul tells us that Jesus will return. God’s grace is for the purpose of allowing the Testimony of Jesus to be told.
God’s Intent for the Church is to Make God’s Wisdom Known.
“His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be
made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,
according to His eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Ephesians 3:10-11
Grace without the message of the Gospel is not God’s grace. Whatever the churches are doing today, they do not include Jesus Christ nor the Holy Spirit. They are definitely not teaching about God’s grace that leads to the spreading of God’s Salvation plan through Jesus Christ. God’s intent for the Church from the very beginning was to be a light to nations around the world. The Church was established to let everyone know that regardless of how full of sin a person is, each one has something to offer. That offering is to share about Jesus Christ. Jesus died but now is alive and through Him there is the immortality of eternal life. The churches of today are serving something else that boasts of being all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. It is not God although they serve it as God. It discards the need for Salvation through Jesus Christ and substitutes the Holy Spirit for good vibes. It is the mark of the beast, and churches should be preaching against it instead of teaching members to live by it.
In Christ is Freedom to Approach God.
“In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
Ephesians 3:12
With the churches ignoring the grace that leads to the spreading of the Gospel, there is another way. It comes down to an individual and personal effort. Regardless of how awful my life’s history is, I don’t need any church to make my life better. I can come to God through Jesus Christ and by His grace I will be put into service to share the Good News. That Good News is that I can live for Jesus Christ and not have to be bound by the mark of the beast because of my sins. Those who govern by the inner presence of the mark of the beast uses sin to twist a person’s arm to bring conformity to its network. God’s grace forgives us of those sins, He has no desire to use someone’s sin to coerce or punish them. All He requires is that we believe in our heart that Jesus is alive and then to tell others about Him. Christ died on the Cross for my sin, God raised Him from the dead after three days, and because He lives, I will live also.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
