Opposition to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus
for the sake of you Gentiles—”
Ephesians 3:1
The opposition to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is already seen everywhere. This nation is just inches away from changing the laws of this country to close out the Godly foundations of the Constitution. What would happen if a very powerful Christian was able to gain a mass following to turn the clock back to make the progression of the mark of the beast irrelevant? It wouldn’t last long because the leader of the moment would be arrested, killed, or eliminated in another way. The followers would be made to regret trying to overturn the current changes in society. Some see Donald Trump as being harassed by a “progressive” government and his followers characterized as “far right extremists.”
When Paul writes this letter, he is sitting in a Roman prison and will be executed by Nero for spreading the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire. Paul’s followers would be put down, scattered, arrested, and murdered. Today, the idea of bringing the world together through the Gospel of Jesus Christ is trampled on by those who plan to govern the world through mark of the beast. The thing that has power over physiology, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors is operating like a psychotic “lamb” to put down opposition to its authority. It is the mark of the beast.
The Revelation of the Gospel is Everywhere.
“Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you,
that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation,
as I have already written briefly.”
Ephesians 3:2-3
Paul’s conversion must have been heard about all around the world. The whole Roman world knew about his conversion to the way of Jesus Christ because he was a Roman citizen. Not just a Roman citizen, but one that was jailing and killing Christians. The whole Jewish community heard about his conversion to the way of Jesus Christ because he was a Pharisee of all Pharisees. That is God’s grace, instead of striking Paul dead for His crimes against Jesus Christ, God converted Him. Paul saw the Light and he had a huge revelation, such a great revelation that the Church world calls him an Apostle. Then, of all things, he becomes a missionary to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles all around the Roman Empire. Many people came to Jesus Christ which infuriated the Jewish leaders and infuriated the Roman leaders. Nero executed him.
Yes, today we have all heard of Paul’s conversion and of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, there will always be a faithful few who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ through very difficult affliction, persecution, and the threat of death. The faithful few will be in this world until the return of Jesus. Some of those faithful few will turn to Christ after living for the inner presence of the mark of the beast. They will be the “Paul” of these current times. It might not be the “Paul” that rallies the masses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but it will be the “Paul” that turns to Christ after living a life against the Gospel. That “Paul” will be the one to say, “Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace?”
The Gospel is for this Generation.
“In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
which was not made known to people in other generations
as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.”
Ephesians 3:4-5
Jesus Christ came to this generation to reveal Himself as the Son of God, the One who would make atonement for sin, which results in eternal Salvation. This generation needs that Salvation desperately because there is a battle raging. Jesus Christ came to prepare this generation for the battle against the world government that operates through the mark of the beast. It’s a battle against Satan who works through the mark of the beast, and that battle can only be won through Jesus Christ. This generation understands very well everything that is on the line.
There is no way possible that the generation before Jesus could have understood the Bible as it is presented today. The Book of the Revelation is written for this generation because it relates to the disaster of rejecting Jesus Christ. There is no way that those clinging to the Old Testament can ever understand something that has to do with the consequences of rejecting Jesus. The book of Daniel can only be understood by this generation because it relates to the one world government. It’s a government that discards Jesus Christ and tramples on the Holy Spirit who Jesus gave to us when He left for heaven. The mark of the beast is dead against the Gospel of Christ so it’s for this generation to know about. The same is true for Matthew 24, Zechariah, Ezekiel, etc. Without Jesus Christ, without this present generation, there is no revelation.
Paul understood the mystery of Christ’s coming. Paul understood Jesus Christ as the sacrifice that made atonement for sin. Paul understood the work of the Holy Spirit who Jesus gave us to guide and teach believers. Paul understood that Christ’s resurrection meant something more for us relating to eternal life. Paul wrote the books that repeatedly talks about Christ’s resurrection, the resurrection of believers, and the return of Jesus Christ to bring His people home with Him. Paul understood everything that Jesus came to deliver to this generation.
The Gospel Brings Everyone Together as One Body.
“This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel,
members together of one body,
and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.”
Ephesians 3:6
Humanity is in this thing together, everyone in this world is in this life together. Any other way leads to the worse outcome possible. War and violence are the result of dividing people based on differences. The thing in this world today is dividing everyone in the worse way possible. It has power over physiology and is able to endow people with extraordinary knowledge, talents, skills, and physical abilities. The dividing line is between those who welcome its inner presence and those who have no part in it. It is a dividing line between those who live by the mark of the beast and those who don’t. It discards the hope of bringing humanity together as one body because it discards the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Humanity has a flaw that doesn’t allow it to come together as one body, and that does not change by having power over physiology, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The flaw we all have is the sin within our nature. The only way to counter the nature of sin is through Jesus Christ. It’s obvious that those who govern through the mark of the beast is doing nothing to bring the world together as one body. In fact, the world gets more divided every day as hostility rises between the “right wing” and “left wing,” or the “progressives” and Godly “traditionalists.” The closer the world gets to a one world constitution the clearer the division becomes between those who are “in” and those who are not. The global tribulation is just a hop, skip, and jump away, and an earthly utopia of a united global “democracy” isn’t appearing. People are not brought together through the mark of the beast.
Jesus Christ gave His life on the Cross to bring atonement for the sin of human nature. It is only through the Spirit of Jesus Christ that the world can be brought together as one body. Even then, Jesus made it clear that utopia is not a place on earth, it is a place in the Paradise of God. It is a place that says good-bye to this present world and hello to a new heaven and earth. Those who believe in the heart that Jesus is alive and say with the mouth that He is Lord will live eternally in the New Jerusalem. That is the revelation of the mystery of the Gospel of Christ.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
