Preparing Room for Jesus Christ

Luke 22:7-13

“Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
Jesus sent Peter and John, saying,
“Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
Luke 22:7-8

Jesus Christ is the sinless Lamb of God that was sacrificed on the Cross for the forgiveness of sin. Anyone who believes in Him and applies His Blood to the heart will avoid eternal torment and receive eternal life. Today, the preparations are made for us to come to God through Jesus Christ and inherit eternal life. Jesus Christ has prepared a place for all those who believe in Him. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” Jon 3:16

Unleavened bread represents living in Holiness, the Passover represents the applied blood so that death bypasses us as we head to the promised land, and the preparations involve Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, and entering into eternal life.

“Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked.
He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you.
Follow him to the house that he enters, and say to the owner of the house,
‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’
He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.”
Luke 22:9-12

The question is, “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” Preparation is made within the heart, mind, and soul. The place within the heart is the guestroom prepared for the Lamb of God. Before Jesus’s sacrifice on the Cross, there was a curtain that prevented the guestroom from being accessed. At the death of Jesus Christ, that curtain was ripped from top to bottom to enable everyone to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The guestroom is now opened and available for us to invite Jesus Christ into the heart. “And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” Mark 15:37-38

Today, there is an atheistic presence that wants to fill the guestroom. It wants to fill our heart and mind with things that blaspheme God, evicts Jesus Christs, and prevents entry of the Holy Spirit. It has power over physiology, and is able to form thoughts, emotions, words, and behaviors. Instead of filling the guestroom with the water of life, it fills it with bitter water against the Spirit of Jesus Christ. This entity gives life to the image of the beast to speak and live through people as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.

Today, I follow the path where the jar of the water of life is. I walk in the paths that the Word of God has given me to follow. It is for me to drink the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be filled with the fresh water of the Spirit of Christ. I will follow the water of life into God’s house where the guestroom is prepared for His Son Jesus Christ.

“They left and found things just as Jesus had told them.
So, they prepared the Passover.”
Luke 22:13

Today, everything is Just as Jesus has said. The guestroom is prepared to invite Jesus Christ as the guest. The Spirit of Jesus Christ is the guest until He returns, then I will be His eternal guest in the New Jerusalem. Our faith must never be in the atheistic entity that gives what to speak, do, think, and feel. We must never invite it as the residence in the room prepared for the Son of God. We must prepare the Passover, to apply the Blood of the Lamb to our heart, and to hold firm to Christ in a world that is putting to death the Gospel of Christ.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
