Enduring Insults when Helping Others

Romans 15:1-6

The community where I live don’t give a hoot about helping people become a better human being. The only thing they care about is conforming people to the internal government. They are flat out hostile to human sentimentality and especially if that humanness is absorbed into the Spirit of Jesus Christ. It’s only when a person starts to become receptive to the unnatural presence within thoughts and feelings that they become supportive. In that way, they are mandating the mark of the beast. That’s why they are absolutely hostile to the testimony given about Jesus Christ, it interferes with the mission of the society that governs through the mark of the beast. A new Christian has a lot going against them, first they have to ward off intrusive thoughts and feelings, then they have to ward off those who live by the mark of the beast.

A lot of endurance and encouragement is needed from one Christian to the next. Especially if one is having a difficult time progressing in the walk with Jesus Christ. It’s not easy living for God through Jesus in a world that is destroying the church, the Bible, God’s love, and Christ’s Spirit. A very simple faith is required, to believe in Jesus and to talk about the testimony of Christ. That is where eternal life is found. I have to forget about the enjoyment I have in talking about Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Revelation, etc. when it is more beneficial to endure in and be encouraging about the essentials. Sometimes it is best to stick to John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

I am harassed and insulted for trying to be supportive of those trying to live for Jesus Christ. I’m reminded that Jesus did not please Himself, He was insulted for all those He came to share the Good News with. More than that, He was nailed to the Cross so that we can come to God. Like Jesus, it is necessary to build each other up regardless of how much of a personal sacrifice it is. The Bible is here to provide hope, to teach us all about endurance, and to encourage us through these days of the mark of the beast. If only I could be like Jesus, to have the same mind as Him when it comes to one another, to be filled with the encouragement and endurance of God. If only we all could be of the same mind and same voice to glorify God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, believers who share the Spirit of Jesus Christ are of one mind.

“We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
For even Christ did not please Himself but, as it is written:
“The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,
so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and
the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you
the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
so that with one mind and one voice
you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 15:1-6

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
