Undisputable Faith

Romans 14:1-9

Some people make it a point to debate anything related to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are oppositional towards the Spirit of Christ. They make it their purpose to do the opposite of what I do. If I make a matter-of-fact statement, they dispute it. If I drink an ice-cold soda, they drink something piping hot. If I eat a well-balanced meal, they eat a hostess twinkie. If I am confiding in someone, I’m told how terrible the person is. If I go to church they stay home, if I stay home from church they go. They are full of disputes.

The only agreement that some reach with me is through the internal government of the mark of the beast. If I perchance say something that defies ordinary human knowledge, they are very attentive and cordial. If I show certain feelings not in the Spirit of Christ, they are friendly. If I behave in a manner not associated with a Christian, they warm up to me. They are mandating the mark of the beast. They are like a magnet that repels Christians on the one side and attracts comradery with those who live by the mark of the beast on the other side.

We who serve God find the common denominator through Jesus Christ. Whether a person considers Sundays to be the Lord’s Day or not doesn’t matter, what matters is that we live for Jesus Christ. The differences that exist in lifestyle choices doesn’t matter one tiny bit if the person lives for God through Jesus. It’s important for me to accept someone’s love for Jesus Christ without getting into debates over whether Angels really have wings or not. God is the One who makes them stand or fall.

Whatever a person does is done in the presence of God through Jesus Christ. Each person answers to God personally according to the relationship with Jesus Christ. That is why Jesus Christ died and was raised from the dead, to make each person responsible to God. Every person, whether Christian or not will be judged by God. Jesus Christ is Lord over the dead and the living because of His death and resurrection.

“Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.
For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone.
If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord.
So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life
so that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.”
Romans 14:1, 7-9

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
