A Cat Just Buried its “Business” In a Squirrels Nut Stash

For some reason, there is a squirrel and a cat that seems to think my patio area is their storehouse and port-a-john.

A squirrel has a couple places where it buries its nuts. A place very near my front door and a place on the edge of the patio. This morning, I saw one of many feral cats in the area digging in the same place where the squirrel buried a nut. I was wondering why the cat was digging up the squirrel’s nut. Then I noticed the cat wasn’t digging, it was covering up its poop, right on top of the squirrel’s nut stash.

If I see a rabid squirrel running around sometime today, at least I’ll know why. I hope the squirrel doesn’t take it out on me.

The internal presence that has power over physiology can definitely stir up wrath in the animal kingdom as well as among humans. Anyway, let’s try to get along with each other.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger,
brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.”
Ephesians 4:31

“For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
