Non-Acceptance by One is Another Person’s God Send

Romans 11:11-16

I’m fascinated with how I gained access to Jesus Christ because it all relates to the history of Israel. Israel was constantly turning away from God, and there were only a small number of them existing at the time of Christ’s birth. Which was written about in the Bible before it happened. It’s because of their sin that the opportunity of choosing Jesus Christ came to me. Israel chose the law of the Old Testament over their own Christ, so God introduced me to their Christ. I shouldn’t be gloating about my good fortune at their expense, I should be hopeful that one day they will be included into the body of Christ. Including them would be breathing life into the dead.

Because Israel chose the law of the Old Testament over Jesus Christ, Salvation came to the whole world. There is still hope that some of the Israelites of today will come to Jesus Christ. I’m sure there are some who do live for God though Jesus. As notoriously rebellious as what the whole of Israel is, they are God’s people. They are the root that gave growth to the huge blossoming of Christian branches. They are the one piece of dough that made the much larger Christian piece Holy. For that, Israel will always have a very special place in my heart. The hope is for everyone to come to God, through His Son Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His life to atone for sin.

“Again, I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!
Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.
But if their transgression means riches for the world,
and their loss means riches for the Gentiles,
how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!

I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles,
I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse
my own people to envy and save some of them.
For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world,
what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
If the part of the dough offered as first fruits is Holy, then the whole batch is Holy;
if the root is Holy, so are the branches.”
Romans 11:11-16

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
