And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.
Revelation 13:5
We are within the “42 months” of the end of the beast’s dominion on this earth because the description of the beast, as seen in the post on Revelation 13 and the posts from the book of Daniel 11:21-24 on the “Vile Person”, is already in this world.
When looking at the three times which Daniel gives in the verses of this post, it matches exactly with the “42 months” given in Revelation 13:5. The three times are quoted below,
- “And from the time that the daily sacrifice will be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” Daniel 12:11
The “abomination that makes desolate” was established one month before the “sacrifice” was taken away. “1290 days” is “42 months” (“1260 days”) plus “one month” [“30 days”]. The prophecy of Daniel was written 2500 years ago, so the standard 30-day month is used. For example, the United Nations was established in 1945, just 15 years before the cultural revolution of the 1960s. The peace and love of God through Jesus Christ was changed into the peace and love as defined by the “hippies”. The United Nations brought the government of the beast with it. as described in Daniel 8:1-14.
The daily sacrifice being taken away refers to the worship given to God through Jesus Christ being discarded. This happened almost immediately after the “abomination that makes desolate” was set up. When service to Jesus Christ was taken away, there remained only “42 months” of the beast’s reign on this earth. The Gospel of Christ began to be taken away after the establishment of the New World Order immediately after WW2, as explained in Daniel 8. Today, the Gospel of Christ has been abandoned by the churches, government lawmakers no longer integrate the values of the Bible into laws and policies, the educational system prohibits the teaching of the Bible in classrooms, and Christianity is not welcomed in any sector of society.
The abomination that makes desolate has been set up. An abomination is an intense dislike for something, something considered disgusting, despised, and hated. Today, that abomination has been established against belief in God, against the need for Jesus Christ, and against the Holy Spirit. That abomination is desolating our soul of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. There is a thing set up within the temple of God, our body, which despises Jesus Christ. It forms what we speak, think, feel, and do and sets itself up as God in the temple of God, our body, as if it were God. It wants to desolate everything to do with the Spirit of Christ in us so that it has complete control over our physiology.
“…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 The “he” in this verse is the “man of sin”. Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.
It is no secret, and everybody knows about the beast which forms what we speak, think, feel, and do. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through a person. As a person lives and speaks according to its direction, they are groomed to the mark of the beast. It does not allow the Gospel of Christ, nor the image of Christ, to live and speak through a person. It blasphemes God, discards the need for the remission of sin through Jesus, and tramples on the Holy Spirit. It has been given the authority to continue for “42 months.” It is the engine of the global government of the beast, the United Nations, which has been in this world since immediately after WW2, as explained in Daniel 8.
The daily sacrifice has been taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate is here. We are inside the “42 months” before the destruction of the beast’s power center. - “Blessed is he that waits, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.” Daniel 12:12
The “1335 days” is “44 1/2 months” which is absolutely and perfectly in alignment with what is said in the book of Revelation. The beast rules for “42 months,” then the power center of the beast is destroyed. The world goes on for another “2 1/2 months” before the return of Jesus Christ, blessed are we who wait for His return. Within the final “2 1/2 months” of life on this earth, the Battle of Armageddon comes, then after that Jesus Christ returns.
The Fifth Plague is when the power center of the beast is destroyed, “The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.” Revelation 16:10-11
After the beast loses power in the Fifth Plague, life on this earth goes on for another “2 1/2 months”. The Battle of Armageddon happens in the Sixth Plague, and the return of Jesus Christ happens when the Seventh Trumpet sounds of Revelations 11:15. That accounts for the 2 1/2 months past the “42 months” rule of the beast.
Jesus Christ comes back “2 1/2 months” after the throne of the beast is cast into darkness. The destruction of the beast’s power center is the end of the beasts “42 month” reign. The last “2 1/2 months” on this earth is a period of unimaginable global tribulation and is the period of time in which the Battle of Armageddon takes place.
The Sixth Plague is when the Battle of Armageddon takes place, “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.” Revelation 16:12-16
Jesus Christ comes back after the Battle of Armageddon, as described in the Seventh Plague and the Seventh Trumpet. - “But you, go your way till the end; for you will rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.” Daniel 12:13
“Resting” refers to death, and waiting until God raises us from the dead to inherit eternal life and to be with Christ for eternity. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
We are living within those “42 months” when the beast has authority in this world. “….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“ ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’” “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
