“And in his place will arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he will come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue.” Daniel 11:21
We know the “Vile Person” is not a single flesh-and-blood human being because the global government of the beast will remain longer than the life term of one person. During the rule of the “Vile Person”, there is the opening of the Six Seals [Revelations 6], the events of the Seven Trumpets [Revelations 8, 9, and 11], and the events of the Seven Plagues [Revelations 16].
The “Raiser of Taxes” was eliminated peacefully, as described in Daniel 11:20 [probably through the digital currency]. Then came the “Vile Person” who seizes the kingdom. In terms of the Holy Spirt, who inspires all scriptures, a vile person is someone who is extremely unpleasant to belief in God, to Jesus as Christ and Son of God, and to the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“They” refers to people who are contrary to the “Vile Person” who do not give him the honor of royalty. Those people include we who live for God through Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit. We give honor to the Divine Creator who gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as the guarantee of our eternal inheritance.
Although we followers of Jesus Christ do not honor the “Vile Person” as royalty, he comes in peaceably and seizes the kingdom by fascination, “…having a form of godliness but denying its power.” 2 Timothy 3:5 This describes the “beast with two horns like a lamb” {Revelations 13:11-12] which is Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit. This “Vile Person” causes people to be fascinated with his power and authority. The world’s population follows this vile person from wonder and fascination, “And he doeth great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,” Revelation 13:11-13 “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Revelation 13:3 “…and they worshipped the beast, saying, who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:4
“And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15
The vile person seizes the “kingdom” by intrigue. The “kingdom” includes the global kingdom of the global culture that is in every city around the world. That is done by seizing the Kingdom of the heart and soul, as Jesus says the Kingdom of God is within us, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21 The “Vile Person” thrives on the power over physiology to live within people by governing through their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors.
Daniel 11:31-35 further describes this “king”, the “Vile Person“, as one who conspires against the sanctuary of God and His people. Daniel 11:36-39 further describes that “king” as one doing whatever he chooses and exalts self above every god and God Himself. The Holy Spirit describes this same “Vile Person” as the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 The “he” in this verse is the “man of sin” Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. Our body is the temple of God, the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the “Vile Person” that rises to global power claims our body as its possession [as if is God]. This is done by the power over physiology to give people what to speak, think, feel, and do.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
