Offering Myself into Service

Romans 6:8-14

I’m determined not to offer my services to the mark of the beast. That internal presence is the embodiment of sin for one very huge reason, it blasphemes the existence of God and is hostile to the Spirit of Christ. It has no respect for human sentimentality at all. Those who live by the mark of the beast are the human robots that dominates cities around the world. I am determined to offer every part of myself to Jesus Christ regardless of the rejection received by those around me. I am dead to the Godless neighborhood, city, and world but alive to God though Jesus. That death to sin means that I have life with Jesus Christ for eternity.

Paul explains that living under the law (Old Testament) is no longer a requirement. Jesus Christ is now the way into the presence of God. There is a lifetime grace period where no one is obligated to live by the book of Leviticus etc. Jesus Christ died on the Cross for the sins of all. It is now only necessary to count ourselves as dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. We mustn’t live by sin nor to offer ourselves as a tool for sin to live through. Instead, we must offer ourselves as a tool for righteousness. Sin is no longer to have control over us because we are under grace through Jesus Christ.

“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to Him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.”
Romans 6:8-14
