From the Destruction of the Mark of the Beast to the New Jerusalem

1 Thessalonian 4:13-18

• The Beast Behind the Mark of the Beast Destroyed.
• The Dead in Christ and those Yet Alive Rise Together.
• 1st Resurrection and “1000” Good Years.
• Satan Destroyed after the “1000 Years“.
• Second Resurrection and Great White Throne Judgment.
• New Heaven and New Earth Created for the New Jerusalem.

This present world system that operates through the internal government of the mark of the beast will collapse. That is when the beast that is behind the mark of the beast is thrown into a lake of fire. It is destroyed forever. Satan is still alive but is placed in chains for “1000 years” This is when the first resurrection happens, and the resurrected will rule with Jesus Christ under this present heaven and earth for “1000 years”. After that “1000 years,” Satan is released and he brings armies against those who rule with Christ. The armies are stopped, and Satan is thrown into the lake of fire with the beast for eternity. Now, the beast and Satan are gone forever. This is when the second resurrection occurs for the final judgment of all people. After this, the new heaven and earth are created, and the New Jerusalem comes for eternity.

The Beast Behind the Mark of the Beast Destroyed.
In this year 2022, the beast is behind the internal government of the mark of the beast. It forms thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to govern through an army of human robots. It is sin. It lives to speak against God, mock Jesus Christ, destroy the Church, and persecute those who live for Jesus Christ. There is total lawlessness, chaos, and war as the internal government tries to conquer Christ on the earth as we know it today. That results in the collapse of that godless government and the beast with the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire for eternity. The first resurrection comes immediately after the destruction of the government of the mark of the beast. But this present heaven and earth remains in existence for another “1000 years.” Satan is bound during that time but resurfaces after those “thousand years.”

Revelation 16:8-21 directly says that after the mark of the beast’s seat of power is destroyed, then Satan stirs up a revolt that leads to the end of the world as it is known today.

“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 19:19-20

The Dead in Christ and those Yet Alive Rise Together.
All those who renounce their sins and accept God through Jesus Christ will be resurrected from the dead. I believe that Jesus died and was raised from the dead and when I die, I will be brought to live with Jesus. That is true for all believers. But the human robots who live by the mark of the beast have no hope because they live in sin and oppose Jesus Christ as a way of life. There will be a total collapse of this world’s system and then a total destruction of this present heaven and earth. So, what will happen to the faithful and few Christians that are still alive when Jesus returns? Jesus Christ will lift them up to be with Him. First, all those who died believing in Jesus Christ will be resurrected then all those who are alive will be lifted together with them to meet the Lord in the air. I can envision how quickly everything happens, the dead rise and then those who are still alive are lifted and everyone meets in the air at the same time. That is for eternity. Jesus is coming soon!

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord will not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so will we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

1st Resurrection and 1000 Good Years.
The dead in Christ as well as those who are yet alive when Jesus returns will be included in this first resurrection. The first resurrection is what’s spoken about in 1 Thessalonian 4:13-18. The following verses are actually specifying those of us who live for Jesus Christ under this present system of the mark of the beast. We will live and reign with Jesus Christ for “1000 years.”

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Revelation 20:4-5

Satan Destroyed after the “1000 Years“.
The new heaven and new earth of the New Jerusalem is still not created at this time. Satan will not see the New Jerusalem and certainly will not be there gathering an army to murder God’s people. After the “1000 years,” Satan is released back onto this present earth, and he is determined to exterminate all of God’s people. This time, Satan doesn’t have the internal government of the mark of the beast to work through. This is what Revelation 16:8-21 is directly saying, the mark of the beast’s seat of power is destroyed, then Satan stirs up a revolt that leads to the end of the world as we know it. God destroys Satan and his armies, and Satan is thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet have been for “1000 years.” Satan, the beast, and false prophet are now in eternal torment.

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
Revelation 20:7-10

Second Resurrection and Great White Throne Judgment.
All the other dead people who were not in the first resurrection will be in this second resurrection. The human robots who rejected Jesus Christ and lived for the mark of the beast will be there. They die in their sins and now they face their fate, eternal torment. The human robots will have plenty of company because all people will be standing in front of the Great White Throne of God. They will be judged according to the works that they have done, and rejecting God’s love, rejecting Jeus Christ, and persecuting His Children are evil works. Being thrown into the lake of fire is the second death, and those who live for Jesus Christ will not be touched by the second death. The first death is the grave and the second death is eternal torment. The name of those who live for God will be in the Book of Life.

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 29:7-15

New Heaven and New Earth Created for the New Jerusalem.
The New Jerusalem comes after the second resurrection which is the Great White Throne Judgment. The second resurrection comes after Satan is thrown into the lake of fire. Satan is thrown into the lake of fire after the first resurrection which is the “1000 years” with Christ on this earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 speaks of that first resurrection. The first resurrection happens after this present global system is destroyed, which is governed by the mark of the beast. That is when the beast and false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
