4th Day, Sun Reset to Mark the Signs of the Times

When God created the sun, moon, and stars it would be to provide all the light that is needed for the day and night. Those creations would also serve as a basis for keeping track of time, to enable us to set clocks. Now, the internal government of the thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and say is here and its rejection of God and His Son Jesus Christ changes things. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people, so it is changing the signs of the times.

The sun, moon, and stars are now signs of the times which are keeping time set to the judgments of God. The sun’s intense heat is associated with the time that the power center of the beast will be defeated. That is quoted in the verses below. With the power outage of the beast, the thing which forms thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors will no longer be functioning. That means the image of the beast will no longer be able to live and speak through people, which means people will no longer be conformed to the mark of the beast. That leads people to retaliate in great rebellion against the global government, leading to the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:11-16).

“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun;
and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
And men were scorched with great heat, and
blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and
they repented not to give Him glory.
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast;
and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
because of their pains and their sores, 
but they refused to repent of what they had done.

The clock of the signs of the times are also mentioned here,

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and
upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and
for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:
for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
Luke 21:25-26

When we see the clock of the signs of the times ticking down, it is evident that the return of Jesus Christ is soon. This present heaven and earth will be destroyed and there will be a new heaven and earth. On that day, those who live by the image and mark of the beast will be destroyed and have eternal torment. Those who live for Jesus Christ will live eternally in the New Jerusalem where there is no need for the sun or the moon.

“The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it,
for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.”
Revelation 21:23

I’m sure that Satan detested the day that God set the sun, moon, and stars as the timekeepers to serve as the signs of the times.

“And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky
to separate the day from the night and
let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and
let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 
God made two great lights—
the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. 
He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth 
to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness.
And God saw that it was good. 
And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.”
