The Holy Spirt feeds the followers of Jesus Christ in the latter days.
“Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.” Zachariah 10:1.

The Holy Spirit is the rain the Lord gives to us by faith in the Christ, Jesus. These are the latter days of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which Joel prophesied about, “And it will come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh…” Joel 2:28 Peter spoke of the fulfillment of that prophecy, “Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said …this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel…” ‘And it will come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh…” Acts 2:14, 16-17

Why is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit within the last days? Because now that the Holy Spirit is here, hardening the heart against Him removes any possibility of Salvation, as quoted, “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.” Matthew 12:31 That blaspheme leads to global lawlessness because only by welcoming the presence of the Holy Spirit is lawlessness restrained, 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7. “For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.” Hebrews 10:26-27

The Lord makes “flashing clouds” meaning the rain of the Holy Spirit is always ready to come like showers of rain into our heart and soul. When that happens, instead of global lawlessness and destruction, there is grass in the field for everyone. That grass is the blossom of the fruit of the Holy Spirit within our spirit and soul. The grass of faith, goodness, joy, peace, meekness, gentleness, kindness, goodwill, love, patience, self-control, perseverance.

The government of the beast leads by deception.
“For the idols speak delusion; The diviners envision lies, and tell false dreams; They comfort in vain. Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; They are in trouble because there is no shepherd. “My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the goatherds.” Zachariah 10:2-3a.

They speak delusion. The beast that has power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel is of Satan, it is his beast. That beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. That beast speaks delusion through the global population. Their delusion consists of having no belief in God as our Creator, not acknowledging the born-again experience through the Christ, Jesus, and not recognizing the need for the Holy Spirit to be part of who we are.

The delusion they are under comes by the empowerment the beast through the signs of uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and abilities, uncanny authority over others, amazing physical abilities, fabricated emotional responses, etc.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

They envision lies and tell false dreams. We are constantly being told visions of lies and false dreams. The promotion of a global culture in the name of creating an earthly Garden of Eden is a whole bunch of false dreams and lying visions. The “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations is an example of the intent to build the earthly utopia. Even today, those lies and false dreams are being exposed by global warming, which is the Fourth Plague as mentioned in Revelation 16:8-9. Global warming is a stumbling block to the global goals built on lies and false dreams. Global warming is instrumental in plunging the power center of the beast into darkness, which happens in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. Following that, comes the Battle of Armageddon of the Sixth Plague. Our Lord Jesus, the Christ, returns in the Seventh Trumpet of Revelations 11:15-18, during the event of the Seventh Plague of Revelations 16:12-17.

They comfort in vain. Those who live and govern by the beast forming thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors comfort in vain. They use a lot of churchy and humanitarian sounding words to say that everything wrong in this world will be made better. “They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.” Jeremiah 6:14 They disregard God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit who can really make things eternally better. They comfort human emotions but do nothing to fill the heart, mind, and soul with the Holy Spirit, who is the true Comforter. “…the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:26-27

While the global population is promised peace and a better future in this world, that comfort is in vain. There is coming to this earth the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11. And also the events of the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. Global warming is already here, showing the vanity of earthly comforts without the Holy Spirit.

Therefore the people wend their way like sheep; They are in trouble because there is no shepherd. Wending refers to walking around leisurely, like sheep do in the pasture. Today’s culture, which is global, is doing just that, feeling safe and secure while serving the beast that gives them what to speak, do , think, and feel. Little do they know the danger that they are in, a wolf is nearby ready to devour and tear them to pieces. They have no shepherd to lead them through the delusions, lies, vanities, and false dreams.

Jesus, the Christ, is the Good Shepherd that guards us from Satan’s delusions, from lies of an earthly utopia, from vanities of false Christs promising earthly salvation for humanity, and from false dreams of a global culture functioning in perfect harmony and peace. Our Lord Jesus gives us a sober mind of worldly expectations, He is the Truth bringing the words of Life, He leads with humbleness, and focuses our attention on the hope of the eternal New Jerusalem.

Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them…My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish…” John 10:11-12, 27-28

My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the goatherds. The Lord’s anger is against the shepherds and goatherds. Shepherds are those calling themselves “ministers” within the manmade churches of today. A goatherd is a person who tends, herds, or takes care of a group of goats, or those who are suppose to be bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are not living for Him. Why is the Lord against the shepherds? Because the manmade churches have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ to partner with the community agenda. The community culture embraces the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel, and the shepherds of the churches have partnered with them. Why is the Lord against the goatherds? Because the Message of the Cross is not being brought to those who need Him most. People need to hear, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us...Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” Romans 5:8, John 5:24

The “shepherds” and the “goatherds” are supposed to be set apart from the ways of the world and dedicated to the mission of letting people know God loves them, that He sent His son Jesus Christ, and whoever believes in Him will be saved and will not perish. To teach them to live in the presence of the rain of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ equips us for the spiritual battle in this life.
Jesus Christ makes His followers valiant in the spiritual battle.
For the Lord of hosts will visit His flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as His royal horse in the battle.” Zachariah 10:3b.

The prophecy of the Lord visiting His flock has been fulfilled through Jesus Christ…He is Emmanuel, God with us. His flock is everyone who lives for Him in the name of Jesus, the Christ. Jesus is returning again to visit His flock to bring us home with Him into the eternal New Jerusalem.

The house of Judah is every Believer, as we know the Lord does not call those who reject Him “His flock”. Our Lord Jesus is from the tribe of Judah.  “For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed will be called….And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Romans 9:6-7, Galatians 3:29

We who live for Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, are His “royal horse in the battle”. We know the battle is not the type of wars that this world fights, but our battle is a spiritual warfare, as quoted,  “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12. The Holy Spirit tells us to put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6: 10-20.

“From him comes the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.” Zachariah 10:4

From the Lord comes the Christ as the Cornerstone, Christ as the Tent Peg, Christ as the Battle Bow, Christ as the King of kings.

Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone of sound building construction. The cornerstone is a huge block of stone that was placed on the ground in what would be the corner of the building. The whole building would be built by aligning to the one chief cornerstone. The width, length, and height of the building would all be squared to the chief cornerstone. Because the walls were all squared, the roof would fit properly in alignment. The Christ, Jesus, is the chief cornerstone to keep our soul squared and properly fit together with God through the Holy Spirit.

The photo below is a picture of a chief cornerstone. You can see how the blocks forming the length and width align to it, and the blocks setting on top also align to the chief cornerstone. That one cornerstone squares the whole building., especially 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ walked the earth.

Today, the United Nations (Global government of the beast) is trying to build a global culture without the chief cornerstone, Jesus the Christ. What they are doing doesn’t square with all of the humanitarian and churchy sounding words they use to build their global “democratic” society. It’s the same as not being able to square the killing of the unborn with the phrase they use to condone it, “Reproductive Rights.” It’s the same as not being able to square calling a person a woman who has a male part or calling a person a man who has a female part. The use of their words such as human dignity, love, support, self-esteem, etc. doesn’t square with how they call the followers of Christ hateful, unloving, and the enemies of humanity. Their righteous image doesn’t square with their denial of the existence of God, their disregard for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and their hostility to the Holy Spirit.

What the masses of this world squares with is the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by that they are considered squared with the global culture. They are conformed to their place within the “democratic” society as they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.

In Matthew 7:24-26, Jesus tells the parable of the wise who build their home on the rock and the foolish who build their home on the sand.

The Holy Spirit has a word for the Jewish people and everyone else who rejects Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone, as quoted, “..let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:10-12

Jesus Christ is the Tent Peg which anchors our soul. In the Old Testament, the Israelites didn’t have a city to call their own, so they lived in tents. To refer to God as a tent peg means He secures us in place as shelter from the storms and other external elements. Today, Jesus Christ is the Tent Peg who is the anchor of our soul, as quoted, “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil…” Hebrews 6:19. The hope we have is for our home in the eternal New Jerusalem within the new heaven and new earth. The Presence behind the veil is the Holy Spirit within our soul, and He is the guarantee and down payment of eternal life.

Anyone living for Jesus Christ knows the storms are blowing against us and it is only our Lord Jesus who keeps us anchored. We live in a world where people in every city around the globe ridicule belief in God, are hostile towards the need for the remission of sin through Jesus, and scrutinize the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the Battle Bow. The battle bow was made especially strong and required strength to pull it back to launch arrows. It was different from a bow used for hunting or target practice. In that light, Jesus Christ is that strong Bow used for launching arrows. What arrows are we shooting in the strength of Jesus through the Holy Spirit? Very simply, the arrows coming from the Strong Bow is the word of God, the Holy Scriptures, the Gospel of Christ.

Jesus Christ is the source to bring nations together. Very succinctly, the Christ, Jesus, is the King of kings. Only under His command can every ruler come together. Because this world is trying to bring every nation together under the umbrella of the United Nations, without God, Christ as the Chief Cornerstone, and the Holy Spirit, it is being built on sand. The United Nations was formed in 1945, after WW2, and brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14. The united government of the beast, and its global culture, are built upon the beast that governs by giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel.

The followers of Jesus Christ are soldiers of the Cross.
“They will be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses will be put to shame.” Zachariah 10:5

Christians are like victorious mighty people. “They will be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies…” Who is the enemy? Satan. He is the cause of atheism that denies that God is our Creator, he despises the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and he mocks the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are victorious through Jesus Christ who has already defeated Satan when He gave His life on the Cross to atone for sin, when God resurrected Him to life to defeat death and to give eternal life, and when the Holy Spirit was given to all Believers. By our faith in Jesus Christ, the battle has been won. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

Oh, victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me ‘ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood.
[Victory in Jesus]

Christians have victory in the mire of the streets. As followers of Christ, we have victory in the mire of the streets. On the streets of this world, the Holy Spirit is confused with soft emotions, “being all wet,” filled with “leakage” etc. They want t0 use what they perceive as “wetness” to turn it into mire, which is to corrupt the Holy Spirit within a person. They want to turn the soul into a swamp instead of beautiful spiritual territory. They want to bog us down in mire to prohibit the freedom in the Spirit. Even so, as Christians, we don’t live by corrupted soft moisture, we live in Jesus Christ, we have victory in the mire of the streets.

The word “angel” conjures up images of beings with halos and two wings, but there are no angels in the Bible with that description. It’s the same misconception people have of the Holy Spirit being soft, moist, and wet emotional qualities. When someone is asked what an angel is, they describe the attributes of humanism with all the soft, moist, tender, and wet qualities they can think of. They love to use the words, love, support, dignity, kindness, family, democratic, etc. to promote the global culture of the beast. That is mire they try to bog decent individuals down with. They use a lot of churchy and humanitarian sounding words. They are trying to bog down the Holy Spirit in mire the Holy Spirit.

“For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple...those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Romans 16:18, Isaiah 5:20

“Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind…lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” Colossians 2:18, 8

As followers of Jesus Christ, we have victory in the streets of mire because Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, not corruptible emotions that get bogged down in the quagmire.

When people show qualities of the Holy Spirit, they are often called “gay” or harassed, insulted, and ridiculed in other ways. They want to turn the Spirit into mire. They use soft and tender emotions to shape and mold people into something corrupted and not of Jesus Christ. Even so, as followers of Christ Jesus, we live in the Holy Spirit not in the corruptible mire of soft and tender emotional qualities. We live in the steadfastness of Holiness through Christ, not in emotional qualities as changeable as the flow of water. We have victory in the mire of the streets through the Lord Jesus Christ.

The beast which forms what people speak, do, think, and feel think, thrives on shaping pleasant emotions into something corruptible. In other words, the beast corrupts innocence. Its purpose is to enable the image of the beast to live and speak through people which only happens when the decency of the human spirit is bogged down in mire. It wants to sever people from the Holiness given through Jesus Christ. As people allow the beast to live and speak through them, they are plunged into mire as they deny the existence of God, discard the need for the remission of sin through Jesus, and are hostile towards the Holy Spirit. They are conformed to their place within the anti-Christian society as they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. Even so, praise God that we have victory in the streets of mire through Jesus our Lord.

We fight in the Holiness of the Lord to defeat worldly attacks. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses will be put to shame.” Very simply, we fight the battle against the quagmire of spiritual wickedness because God is with us through Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit. On the Day of the Lord, the masses of people who live for the global culture of the beast will be put to shame. Jesus Christ returns in victory as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Jesus Christ redeems us and calls us home into the New Jerusalem.
“I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, because I have mercy on them. They will be as though I had not cast them aside; For I am the Lord their God, and I will hear them. Those of Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as if with wine. Yes, their children will see it and be glad; Their heart will rejoice in the Lord. I will whistle for them and gather them, for I will redeem them; And they will increase as they once increased.” Zachariah 10:6-8

Zachariah was definitely well versed in the Scriptures available to him at that time. Being a Prophet, he was the one everyone looked to as someone bringing the word of God to them. He knew Joseph was a captive of the Egyptians after being betrayed by his brothers. The house of Joseph included his two sons, although Zachariah only mentions the one, Ephraim. That is because the younger son, Ephraim, received the blessing of his older brother, which is very meaningful to us today. The promise of God spoken through Zachariah is that they would all be brought back and redeemed.

Zachariah was led by the Spirit of God in what was brought out in the verse above. For example, the younger son receiving the blessing of the older son refers to Christianity receiving the honorable seat of the Jewish nation in the eyes of God. That’s because the Jewish nation dishonored their seat by rejecting Jesus Christ and are the ones responsible for killing Him. The blessings once intended for the first-born Jewish nation are now given to the youngest born Christianity. Also, as non-Jews, we were always excluded from the family of God because the Jewish people held exclusive rights to God. We were held captive to sin with no mercy. God promised that through Jesus Christ, He would have mercy on us and reconcile us to Him. We are redeemed as though never been cast aside. We are the house of Judah because we live for Jesus Christ who is from the Tribe of Judah.

“Their children” refers to every person who comes to God through His Son, Jesus the Christ, as quoted, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13 We have seen the Christ, our born-again experience witnesses to that, and and we rejoice and are glad. At the return of our Lord Jesus, He will whistle for all of His children, to gather us together into the eternal New Jerusalem, where our increase is.

“O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy endures for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.” Psalms 107:1-3

Jesus Christ makes His followers overcomers of spiritual wickedness.
Followers of Jesus Christ are around the world.
“I will sow them among the peoples, and they will remember Me in far countries; They will live, together with their children, and they will return. ” Zachariah 10:9

We followers of Jesus Christ have been sown among the people in every city around the world. Although the Jewish nation and their families were brought to the newly formed State of Israel in 1948, it will be we who accept Jesus Christ who will be gathered into the New Jerusalem with the family of God. When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, a time when all Believers live together, with all the children of the Lord. Return to the Lord through Jesus the Christ and you will inherit eternal life.

Followers of Jesus Christ will be gathered into the New Jerusalem.
“I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt, and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, until no more room is found for them.” Zachariah 10:10

The eternal New Jerusalem will be crammed full of those who come to God through Jesus Christ and live their life through the Holy Spirit. We have been set free from slavery to sin and now live for the Lord Jesus. Praise God the younger child of Christianity has received the blessings once meant for the older child of the Jewish people. Today, the Israelis have nothing to look forward to beyond their crammed full territory plagued with divisions, conflict, and violence. There is still hope for any person to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, including any Jewish person.

Followers of Jesus Christ live through enormous tribulation.
He will pass through the sea with affliction, and strike the waves of the sea:” Zachariah 10:11a.

Our Lord Jesus has passed through the sea of affliction, which came to a peak at His crucifixion on the Cross. He died a torturous death, but He struck the waves of affliction with His resurrection and the gift of eternal life. Jesus says, “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also…Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” John 15:20, Matthew 5:11-12

Today, we face affliction of every type for simply believing in God and lifting up the name of Jesus.

The Battle of Armageddon destroys this present world’s system.
All the depths of the River will dry up. Then the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart. Zachariah 10: 11b.

Assyria was to the east of the Euphrates River, which was east of Israel [Judah]. At the time, Assyria symbolized the global government of the beast and Egypt symbolized bondage to governing powers. Today, we are under bondage to the beast that has power over physiology to impose upon people what to think, feel, say, and do. The pride of the government of the beast is the global culture and world domination. They will be brought down and the Battle of Armageddon is part of that destruction, as quoted, “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. ..And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.” Revelations 16:12-16

Followers of Jesus Christ have their strength in the Lord Jesus Christ.
So I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they will walk up and down in His name,” Says the Lord.” Zachariah 10:12

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Galatians 2:20-21

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
and with my song I will praise Him. The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance; Shepherd them also, and bear them up forever.” Psalms 28:7-9

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
