Over the years, it is more than obvious that smiles, joyfulness, and rejoicing are not supported in our cities. Over, and over again the smile that appears on my face is confronted with the hostility of nasty looks, depressing comments, or right-out shouting. I figure it is because it shows human sentimentality with the joyfulness found in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The human robots, those who live by the mark of the beast, doesn’t want me to be happy. It’s obvious why there is so much hostility and mourning in our society today. Within myself, I will always have that “Mona Lisa” joy through Jesus Christ.
As long as Jesus Christ is with me, and in this world, there will be happiness. But these are the days when Jesus Christ is being taken out of this world, and it’s very sad. Even so, I choose Jesus Christ. Normal isn’t coming back but Jesus is. I put the new wine of Christ’s Spirit into my heart in a way so that it doesn’t spill. Call it the “hidden manna”, call it whatever you want. We live in the day of the internal government (the mark of the beast), let’s find a way not to be overcome with sadness but instead rest in the quietness of God’s joy through Jesus Christ. A day comes when I will have a new body and a new Spirit.
“Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?” Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast. “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”” Matthew 9:14-17
