Door into the presence of God is only open to Jesus Christ and we enter through Him.
Door into the presence of God is shut because this is a Holy Place. “Then He brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary which faces toward the east, but it was shut. And the Lord said to me, “This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the Lord God of Israel has entered by it; therefore it shall be shut.” Ezekiel 44:1-2

The gate into the presence of God is shut and will not be opened. That’s because the Holiness of God exists there, and no sin is able to live in His presence. We have all inherited sin into our nature which has separated us from Him, and we are all subject to eternal death in the fire of hell, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men…” Romans 1:18

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.” 1 Corinthians 15:50 The question becomes, How can we be saved and enter into God’s presence as the temple of Holy Spirit?” The disciples of Jesus Christ asked Him this question, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:25-26 Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Door is open to Jesus Christ to sit in the Holy Place of God. “As for the prince, because he is the prince, he may sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; he shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gateway, and go out the same way.” Ezekiel 44:3

No earthly minister in any of the manmade churches can do the work of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Prince, the only one who can enter through the gate that God has shut to everyone else. Jesus Christ is the only one who can approach the Holiness of God because He is the sinless Son of God. After Jesus Christ died on the Cross, to atone for sin, He sat down at the right hand of the throne God, “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption …who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 9:12 and Hebrews 12:2

Only because of Jesus Christ are we able to enter into the presence of God as people who have inherited sin. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 He is our chaperone, escort, mediator, and intercessor to plead our cause before the Holiness of God. We ourselves can never be equal with God by sharing space in His most Holy Place, only Jesus Christ can do that. Whatever we want to say to God goes through Jesus Christ, as we live in His name and acknowledge that all glory, power, and the Kingdom belongs to Him, “For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32-33

In His Holiness, Jesus is able to sit with God in Heaven, and in His Holiness, He is able to bring us into the presence of God within us. Through Jesus Christ we are given the Holy Spirit and made to be His temple of the Holy Spirit. When He enters the presence of God, He brings those who believe in Him with Him. However, when we shut Jesus out of our life, then He goes out from the presence of God and the door is shut to us. “And while they went to buy, the Bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’” Matthew 25:10-12

Door opens into the glory of the Lord. “Also He brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple; so I looked, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord; and I fell on my face.” Ezekiel 44:4

The glory of the Lord fills the house of the Lord. The house of the Lord is the Kingdom of God in Heaven as well as our body as the home of the Holy Spirit. In fact, the Holy Spirit in us is our guarantee of inheriting the Kingdom of God, as quoted, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

In the Kingdom of God in Heaven, the glory of God illuminates the Holy City, “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.” Revelation 21:23

The glory of the Lord rises upon Jesus Christ, who radiates with Light. While we are sinners living in the darkness of sin, the Light of His glory will be seen upon us. That happens when we receive Jesus Christ into out spirit and soul to live for God through Him. The following verses speaks this about our Lord Jesus, “Arise, shine; for Your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon You. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over You, and His glory will be seen upon You. The Gentiles shall come to Your light, and kings to the brightness of Your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3

We have all inherited sin into our human nature, so there will never be any glory or light radiating through us. All glory belongs to God through Jesus Christ. The only way that God’s glory and Light can shine through us is if His Son Jesus Christ lives within us. When we receive Him into our spirit and soul, it is His glory and Light shining through us, not our own. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 As John the Baptist says through the Holy Spirit, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

When the birth of Jesus Christ is given life within us, His glory will shine all around us through the Spirit, as it happened to the shepherds when the announcement of Christ’s birth was made, “Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:8-12

Door entrance and exit is well marked. “And the Lord said to me, “Son of man, mark well, see with your eyes and hear with your ears, all that I say to you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the Lord and all its laws. Mark well who may enter the house and all who go out from the sanctuary.” Ezekiel 44:5

God had Ezekiel to watch who goes into the house of the Lord and all who goes out of the sanctuary. There were certain ordinances governing the house of the Lord concerning who enters and leaves the sanctuary. Basically, those ordinances could be summed up in this way, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.” Psalms 24:3-5

Today, we know the house of the Lord includes our body as His sanctuary, and the only way to enter into His presence is through Jesus Christ, as quoted, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6-7 Then, there are those who are atheists, do not believe in God, scoffs at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and oppresses the Holy Spirit. They want to enter into the inner chambers of physiology, through the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. God wants us to be aware of who enters in and who goes out of His sanctuary, our body.

Jesus says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:1-5 Jesus Christ is the One who can enter into the presence of God through the door that only opens to Him, and He is our Shepherd.

Sanctuary of God is to be clear of abominations and foreigners.
Abominations are to be put away from the Sanctuary of God. “Now say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “O house of Israel, let Us have no more of all your abominations.” Ezekiel 44:6

An abomination is an intense dislike, and God wants us to have nothing more to do with what He has an intense dislike for. Today, the abominations of the Jewish people correspond to their turning from the will of God for them to receive Jesus Christ, which causes them to oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. God intensely dislikes that. They have rejected the entire New Testament, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they live only by the Old Testament.

The same words that God gave Ezekiel to speak are the words given to us who live for Him through Jesus Christ. We are to spread the Gospel of Christ to lead people to have no more to do with abominations. Those abominations include atheism that does not believe God, scoffing at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and ritualistically oppressing the presence of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ gave His life on the altar of the Cross to atone for sin and to put away abominations, “He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.” Hebrews 9:26

Abominations are something that God has an intense dislike for, and He desolates those dislikes with His Holiness. Today’s culture has put that abomination where it shouldn’t be and they desolate belief in God, the Gospel of Christ, and the Holy Spirit. That turns this world into a place of chaos and tribulation, as Jesus said, “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Mark 13:14 The abomination of desolation now sets in the Holy place, our body [the sanctuary of God], to destroy the Holiness of God. In Matthew 24:15-16, Jesus is quoted as saying the abomination that makes desolate sets in the Holy place, “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Matthew 24:15-16

The abomination of desolation is spoken about in Daniel 9:27. Click for the full post mentioning the abomination of desolation in Daniel 9:20-27.

Foreigners are not to be in the Sanctuary of God. “When you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to defile it—My house—and when you offered My food, the fat and the blood, then they broke My covenant because of all your abominations. ” Ezekiel 44:7

The covenant God makes with everyone on this earth is this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 When any person chooses to live without God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, they are allowing something else to enter into their spirit and soul. They are bringing foreigners into the sanctuary of God, our body as the home of the Holy Spirit. They are allowing entities to rule over their inner life that are not set apart within themselves to serve God. They are allowing those who do not set apart their bodies to serve God to influence what they do with their bodies. By allowing foreigners and the uncircumcised in soul and body to rule over us, the covenant of God is broken.

Today, there are foreigners and uncircumcised in body and soul that want to enter into the sanctuary of God, our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Those foreigners and uncircumcised are wrapped up in the entity that has power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, do, and say. This is the entity “...who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on the “man of sin”. This is the entity that enables the image of the beast to speak and live through the masses of today’s culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

This is the entity that is sitting where it ought not to be, in the Holy place of God’s sanctuary, our body [Mark 13:14, Matthew 24:15-16, and Daniel 9:27]. From this entity comes the abomination that makes desolate, which is an intense dislike for God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. In that intense dislike is the intent to make desolate our body as the home of the Holy Spirit. As is obvious, the covenant God made with us through Jesus Christ is broken when this foreign and uncircumcised entity enters the sanctuary of God, “If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:17

Sanctuary of God is not to be the property of others. “And you have not kept charge of My holy things, but you have set others to keep charge of My sanctuary for you.” Ezekiel 44:8

We can think of the Holy things of God as being the Bible, the churches, etc. Today, the leaders of the Jewish people and the leaders of the churches have not kept charge of those Holy things and have set others to keep charge of God’s sanctuary. The sanctuary is also our body as the temple of God, the temple of the Holy Spirit, “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19

The Jewish culture have not kept the charge of the Holy things of God since they rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. Now, others, those foreign to Jesus Christ, are keeping charge over the sanctuary of God that exists within the souls of the Jewish people. Those in charge have tossed out the entire New Testament, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they only live by the Old Testament. The souls and spirit of the Jewish people are being corrupted.

The manmade churches of today have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are not keeping charge of the Holy things of God. Others are now keeping charge of the leadership of the churches and are not keeping charge over God’s flock. Those in charge of the churches have formed an alliance with the community culture instead of being set apart from the ways of this world to serve God through Jesus Christ. The congregation is encouraged to welcome the entity of today’s culture that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. The sanctuary of God, the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, is being turned into a place where the image of the beast speaks and lives through them. They are being groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

The manmade churches are filled with people who have no desire to hear the truth of the Gospel of Christ, as quoted below,

“As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, ‘Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord.’ So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them. And when this comes to pass—surely it will come—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 33:30-33

Along with the churches abandoning the Holy things of God, government lawmakers no longer implement the values of the Bible in their laws and policies; the educational system no longer allows the teaching of the Bible in classrooms, and the Gospel of Christ is not welcomed in any sector of society.

Jesus Christ is the only way to enter the Holy place of the sanctuary. “Thus says the Lord God: “No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter My sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel.” Ezekiel 44:9

A foreigner is any entity or person that holds atheist’s unbelief in God, scoffs at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and ritualistically oppresses the presence of the Holy Spirit. They also exist massively among the Jewish culture. They will not enter into the presence of God in His sanctuary, which is our body as the home of the Holy Spirit. Neither will they enter into the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth.

A person who is uncircumcised in heart are those whose spirit and soul are corrupted by the ways of this world. Their spirit and soul are hardened against Jesus Christ, and they will not enter into the presence of God, neither internally nor in the New Jerusalem. “For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed…” Acts 28:27

A person who is uncircumcised in the flesh are those who do not keep themselves from worldly involvements. They do not come apart from the matters of this world to live for God through Jesus Christ. They will not experience being the temple of the Holy Spirit neither will they experience the glory of entering the New Jerusalem.  “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4-5

Today, the foreigners of uncircumcised heart and flesh are those of the masses of today’s culture. They are atheists who have no belief in God as they serve the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. They cannot enter into the presence of God because their spirit and soul are hardened against Jesus Christ. As they are hardened within, the entity that gives them what to think and feel enables the image of the beast to speak and live through them, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron…” 1 Timothy 4:1-2 The whole world follows after the entity that speaks and lives through them as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 The “him” in this verse is the beast of the image and mark of the beast.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 Click for a post on the “lawless one”.

Corrupt earthly ministers keep charge of the manmade churches as they serve the god of this world.
Earthly ministers who stray from God will bear the consequences. “And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity.” Ezekiel 44:10

The Levites were those who were assigned to be the priests over all of the Israelites. They came from the Tribe of Levi, and only they were allowed to do the duties of a priest. Aaron and his sons were the first Levites to perform priestly duties, and the entire Tribe of Levi was put under their direction. The Israelites of the other eleven Tribes of Israel were forbidden from doing priestly duties and would be put to death if they did. “And you shall give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they are given entirely to him from among the children of Israel. So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall attend to their priesthood; but the outsider who comes near shall be put to death.” Numbers 3:9-10

We can envision what would happen to all of the Israelites when their only priests went far from the will of God. The priests were setting an example, teaching, and preaching the Jewish people things that was far from the Ten Commandments and other such laws. The Israelites began to serve false gods and God promises that the priests suffer the consequences of leading the flock astray.

Jesus Christ came to replace the Levites as priests, as He Himself became the Priest over His sanctuary, which is our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit. In fact, if Jesus was on this earth, He would not be an earthly minister within manmade churches, synagogues, etc., “Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man…For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest…” Hebrews 8:1-2, 4

The Levites of today are the ministers within manmade churches who have gone far from God. With their influence, they ensure that those in their flock are led away from Jesus Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit. The congregations are led to serve the false god of this world and taught to disregard Jesus Christ as the Priest over their body, the temple of the Holy Spirit. The people are led to welcome the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity hardens the human spirit and conscience against Jesus Christ in order to enable the image of the beast to speak and live through them. Masses around the world form the global culture who are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

The ministers of today, who are far from the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that are within the churches, synagogues, etc., will suffer the consequences of leading masses of people astray.

Earthly ministers not devoted to God minister in the manmade churches. “Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them.” Ezekiel 44:11

“Yet they shall be”… is referring to those ministers who went astray from the Living God to follow a false god, as quoted in Ezekiel 44:10 The prophecy God gave to Ezekiel was that ministers who serve as gatekeepers of His sanctuary in today’s churches, synagogues, etc., are those who lead the congregation astray. We certainly see how true that is in today’s world.

The leaders of the Jewish people stand as ministers and gatekeepers of the sanctuary of God. But they are leading the people astray and not leading them through the gate into the presence of God through Jesus Christ. 2000 years ago, the Jewish leaders rejected Jesus Christ, and today they have thrown out the entire New Testament, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They live only by the Old Testament. Jesus Christ said, “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.” Luke 16:31 Today, the entire Old Testament is an extension of the Gospel of Christ because “The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy” Revelation 19:10

While the Jewish leaders serve as gatekeepers in the sanctuary of God, they reject Jesus Christ who said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:9-10

As is more than obvious today, the ministers of the manmade churches are leading their congregation far from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They stand in front of all the people as gatekeepers, as those assigned to bring people into the presence of God through Jesus Christ who atoned for our sin on the altar of the Cross. As corrupt gatekeepers, they are ensuring that the door remains closed that leads into the presence of God where we are to discover the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The ministers are shutting out Jesus Christ, shutting the door to a relationship with Him, who said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” John 10:7

If a true minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ ever stood in front of a congregation of today’s churches, the response would be blasphemous. The response would be similar to how the misguided congregation responded to Ezekiel, as quoted below,

Earthly ministers put forth the false god of this world to lead the congregation astray. “Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have raised My hand in an oath against them,” says the Lord God, “that they shall bear their iniquity.” Ezekiel 44:12

The idol, or false god, of this world is the entity that has power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity dominates the manmade churches everywhere, and wants to take control of the human body, which God created to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. This is the entity that opposes all religions, all that is called God, and all that is worshipped. This entity exalts itself above God and sits in the temple of God, our body, as if is God. This is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.

The world government and its global culture assumes control over the leadership of the manmade churches through the entity giving people what to think, feel, do, and say. The objective of the false god of this world is to establish leadership in every sector of society, including the churches, in order to rule over people in every city across the globe. The ministers of the manmade churches are ministering to their congregation through the entity that influences what they say, do, feel, and think. They are using their influence for the purpose of directing people to welcome the atheistic entity that gives them their thoughts and feelings. This is the entity that enables the image of the beast to speak and live through them as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do. The global culture has risen up in churches in every city around the world.

God has raised His hand in an oath against the ministers in the churches, synagogues, etc. for hardening their spirit and conscience against Jesus Christ to live for this world’s false god.

The verse in Daniel 7:6 is a prophecy of the world government assuming control over the grassroots population by placing members of its global culture in places of authority directly over the people. Click here for the post on Daniel 7. These places include church leadership, managerial positions, social service agencies, apartment managers, schoolteachers, etc. Their purpose is to give positive reinforcement for all those who welcome the entity giving them what to think, feel, do, and say, and to give negative feedback and reprimands for those who do not. The authority at the grassroots level is maintaining the yard of the global culture.

Earthly ministers do not come into the Holy Place of God. “And they shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed.” Ezekiel 44:13

Today, there are no leaders within the Jewish culture that are able to come near to God as His priest. That’s because they rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, and Jesus said to them, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 They will not be able to enter into the presence of God to live in His Spirit as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Neither will they enter into eternal life in the New Jerusalem.

Today, within the State of Israel, we see them bearing their shame and all of the abominations that they have committed. The Israelis have the most liberal abortion rights in the world, they support the promotion of the LGBQT lifestyles, and they even protest and riot against their own government to demand conformity to the will of the United Nations/global government. The government of Israel itself has been in 17 wars since the State of Israel was established in 1948, Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. They are nowhere near the Holy things of God nor His Holy place.

The ministers of the manmade churches, synagogues, etc., who have gone astray from Jesus Christ, will not be able to come near the presence of God as His priests. They will not even be able to come near God’s Holy things, which represents of His Holiness, the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and life in the Holy Spirit. Instead, they will be shamed in the eyes of God and be filled with what brings an intense dislike towards them from God. The door will be shut leading into the sanctuary of God, the sanctuary within the soul, and they will not be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Neither will they enter the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth.

Jesus Christ gives a parable in Matthew 25:1-13 about how necessary it is to remain in Him, to always live in the presence of the Holy Spirit, to have the oil in our lamp. When the oil of the Holy Spirit shines in us, on the day Jesus Christ returns, He will see that light and bring us to be with Him eternally. If the light of His Spirit is not shining in us when He returns, then the door leading to eternal life will be shut to us, “…the Bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’” Matthew 25:10-12

Jesus Christ is the only way to come near to God and His Holy things, He is our Minister, our Priest. Our lord Jesus brings us into the Most Holy Place, into the presence of God, and makes us His sanctuary, the temple of the Holy Spirit. Christ Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. ” John 10:11-14

Earthly ministers are made to keep charge of the manmade churches. “Nevertheless I will make them keep charge of the temple, for all its work, and for all that has to be done in it.” Ezekiel44:14

The ministers of today’s churches, synagogues, etc. are made to keep charge over the manmade buildings, all of the work that happens within, and everything else that needs to be done in it. That occurs even if they are not able to come to God through Jesus Christ to live a life of Holiness in the Holy Spirit. This is what the Bible speaks to us about, makes us aware of, and prepares us for. The corruption of the churches is what leads to the opening of the Seven Seals, which is described in Revelation 4. Then comes the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelation 8, 9, and 11, and the Seven Plagues.

As Jesus Christ goes out from the churches, the churches suffer an implosion to render them useless as a light shining on His Gospel. Christ Jesus has already left the churches as His testimony is no longer found there. Jesus Christ plainly speaks of the destruction of the manmade churches, “Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:1-2 Click for a post on Matthew 24.

The temple also refers to our body as the temple of Holy Spirit. The corrupt ministers, who have charge over the churches, serve the entity that is sitting within them to give them what to think, feel, do, and say. These ministers want their congregation to serve the same. This is the entity that exalts itself over God and sits in the temple of God as if is God. This is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. This entity, the one the leaders of the churches serve, enables the image of the beast to speak and live through people everywhere. They are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do. “If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:17

Those who are persuaded to serve the entity giving them what to think, feel, say, and do are following in the footsteps of the one who “…opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:6-8 The “him” in this verse is the beast of the image and mark of the beast.

The followers of Jesus Christ are kept outside the churches. The churches are dominated with those of today’s culture, those serving the entity with power over physiology to give them their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. Today’s culture has a hatred for God, Jesus Christ, and are oppressive to the presence of the Holy Spirit. Jesus says to us, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.” John 15:18-20

Faithful ministers of the word of God.
Faithful few ministers can come near to God through Jesus Christ. “But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 44:15

There were very few faithful priests over the sanctuary of God when the Israelites went astray. The faithful few are those who God accepted into His presence to offer sacrifices to Him. These faithful ones were walking on the narrow road while being surrounded by the multitude on the broad road who turned away from God. Today, we who believe in Jesus Christ are among the very few who are faithful to God who walk in the presence of the Holy Spirit. God accepts our plea for the forgiveness of sin, and our offerings of worship, praise, and devotion.

God has made us a royal priesthood, through Jesus Christ, so that we can proclaim His Gospel. We are similar to the few faithful priests in the days of Ezekiel, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10

Envision just a few who are faithful to the testimony of Jesus when the entire social culture are atheists who do not believe God, scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ and are oppressive to the presence of the Holy Spirit. That describes today’s social atmosphere. Today’s culture is unwelcoming to the gospel of Jesus Christ and hostile to the expression of Christian beliefs. As is more than obvious, they are also hostile towards the existence of Israel.

Ezekiel was living in that hostility, as he was trying to share the word of God to those who flatly refused to be bothered with the word of God. God told Ezekiel to shut himself inside his house, and even after he does, those hostile to his preaching would tie him up in ropes to prevent him from circulating in the community, as quoted, “Go, shut yourself inside your house. And you, O son of man, surely they will put ropes on you and bind you with them, so that you cannot go out among them.” Ezekiel 3:24-25 Click here for the full post on Ezekiel 34.

God says to us, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven…” Revelation 18:4 This amounts to staying in our homes instead of being part of today’s culture. Anyway, they keep us locked in at home because they are hostile and very unwelcoming for Christians to be a part of their community. They live by the entity giving them what to think, feel, do, and say, but we live for Jesus Christ in what we want to say and do. Jesus Christ even prayed that we would not be taken out of this world, but to be kept from the evil one, “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:15-17

Faithful ministers enter into the Sanctuary of God. “They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.” Ezekiel 44:16

The faithful few, who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ, can enter the sanctuary of God. His sanctuary is set up within us where the altar of the soul is found. There, we are able to offer ourselves to God, through Jesus Christ who atones for our sin, and Jesus brings us into presence of God, into the Most Holy place. In that Holy place, we find ourselves in the presence of the Spirit as we become the temple of the Holy Spirit, “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

The faithful few, who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ, are able to come near to the table of God. On that table is everything we need to feed ourselves and to be nourished as the temple of the Holy Spirit. There sets the Bread of Life, the word of God, Jesus Christ, from which we feed our spirit and soul.

Through Jesus Christ, we are able to keep the charge of God to live in His presence, and to keep His word alive within us through the Holy Spirit. “I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:20-21

Clothing of the priests in the inner court is to be comfortable. “And it shall be, whenever they enter the gates of the inner court, that they shall put on linen garments; no wool shall come upon them while they minister within the gates of the inner court or within the house. They shall have linen turbans on their heads and linen trousers on their bodies; they shall not clothe themselves with anything that causes sweat.” Ezekiel 17-18

The priests who were faithful to God were instructed to wear comfortable clothing when they entered through the gates of the inner court. Wool would have been very hot and caused a lot of sweating while making atonement for the sin of the Israelites. The linen of that day would have been much cooler, so the priests were instructed to wear linen for all of their clothing from head to toe.

When our Lord Jesus Christ came, He removed all of the hot and uncomfortable clothing of the many laws that the Jewish people were required to live by. Such laws as the requirement of making animal sacrifices to atone for sin. Jesus Christ was the Lamb of God who was the final sacrifice and fulfillment of the law to atone for the sin of whoever believes in Him. The clothing we now wear is the Holy Spirit, which is so much more comfortable than the many, many laws once required to live by, as is seen in the book of Leviticus.

“When they go out to the outer court, to the outer court to the people, they shall take off their garments in which they have ministered, leave them in the holy chambers, and put on other garments; and in their holy garments they shall not sanctify the people.” Ezekiel 44:19

In the days of Ezekiel, before the coming of Jesus Christ, the general population of the Israelites were not able to enter through the gates of the inner court to atone for their own sin. Only the priests of the Levites could. For that reason, none of the Holy garments of the priests could come into the presence of everyone else, that would have contaminated the sacred ceremony of making atonement for sin. The priests were required to leave their Holy garments in the Holy chambers. When Jesus Christ came, He made it possible for us to be clothed in Holy garments. We are clothed in the Holy Spirit as we come to God through Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin.

“They shall neither shave their heads nor let their hair grow long, but they shall keep their hair well trimmed. No priest shall drink wine when he enters the inner court. They shall not take as wife a widow or a divorced woman, but take virgins of the descendants of the house of Israel, or widows of priests.” Ezekiel 44:20-22

The priests were not to shave their heads when making atonement for the sin of the Israelites. That’s because shaving the head is an act of showing that someone is in mourning, but the forgiveness of sin is a happy experience of joy and cleansing. We sing praise as we rejoice for the forgiveness of sin that we receive through Jesus Christ. Priests were not to drink wine when entering the gates of the inner courts, in the same way that no one should be under the influence of drugs, alcohol, etc. but should only be under the influence of the Holy Spirit. We are made to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, not a warehouse of drugs, alcohol, etc. The priests were not to marry a divorced woman but to marry virgins of the house of Israel. Today, we are not to bond with those who are separated from Jesus Christ but to bond with those who are faithful to God through Jesus Christ.

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-16

Faithful ministers teach the difference between Holy and unholy. “And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.” Ezekiel 44:23

The Holy and clean is to believe God, acknowledge the need for Jesus Christ to forgive sin, and to embrace the Holy Spirit. The Holy and clean is to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is as quoted, “I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.” 1 Corinthians 15:1-8

The unholy and unclean is atheism that does not believe God, they scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and ritualistically oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. The entity that gives people what to think, feel, say and do is unholy and unclean as it replaces the human spirit and conscience. This entity hardens the spirit and conscience against Jesus Christ to enable the image of the beast to speak and live through people in every city across the globe. They are the global culture groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.  These are those who serve the one who opens “…his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them.” Revelation 13:6-7 The “him” in this verse is the beast of the image and mark of the beast.

Faithful ministers are able to judge matters according to God’s word. “In controversy they shall stand as judges, and judge it according to My judgments. They shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed meetings, and they shall hallow My Sabbaths.” Ezekiel 44:24

The phrase, “In controversy they shall stand as judges“, refers to the followers of Jesus Christ bringing resolution to conflict that arises within the body of Jesus Christ, between fellow Christians. We judge matters according to God’s judgments, as written in the word of God, spoken by Jesus Christ, and lives through the Holy Spirit, as quoted, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” Hebrews 10:16

As followers of Jesus Christ, we join with one another through Him in all meetings, and we keep His Sabbaths. Those Sabbaths refer to the day of rest, which means to enter into His rest of Salvation by the forgiveness of sin, as quoted, “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them…For we who have believed do enter that rest…For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”…There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.” Hebrews 4:2-3, 4, 9-11

On this earth, Jesus Christ did not come to judge those who are outside of the body of Believers, and as His followers neither do we. “And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.” John 12:47For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17

In fact, we are not to keep company with atheist who do not believe God. They scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and ritualistically oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. “But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” 1 Corinthians 5:11-13

Jesus Christ also made it clear that we do not judge those whose heart is filled with the concerns of this world, “Then one from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.” But He said to him, “Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?” And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” Luke 12:13-15

Judgment comes in the life beyond the grave, as our Lord Jesus said, “So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Matthew 19:28

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:11-15

Faithful ministers do not defile themselves with the dead of this world. “They shall not defile themselves by coming near a dead person. Only for father or mother, for son or daughter, for brother or unmarried sister may they defile themselves.” Ezekiel 44:25

While the priests of the Old Testament could not defile themselves by coming near a dead person, unless to attend the funeral of a family member, that is exactly what Jesus Christ and His Apostles did. Jesus and His Apostles came near dead people, touched them, and didn’t have any natural relationship to them. Jesus raised the daughter of Jairus from the dead, Mark 5:21–43, Matthew 9:18 –26 and Luke 8:40–56. He also raised the son of the widow Nain from the dead, Luke 7:11-17. And He raised Lazarus from the dead, John 11:1-44. By the power of God, in the name of Jesus Christ, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles also raised people from the dead. The Apostle Peter raised Tabitha from the dead, Acts 9:36-42. The Apostle Paul raised Eutychus from the dead, Acts 20:7-12. And some disciples of Jesus Christ raised Paul from the dead, Acts 14:19-20.

Jesus Christ is the resurrection and life, as He said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 The ministry of Jesus is to come near sinners, who are dead in their sin, and resurrect them to life, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” Ephesians 2:4-6

Before the first coming of Jesus Christ, the Jewish people had strict rules about who could or could not be approached, in what manner, and in what circumstances. They made special provisions that the living family members of the deceased person could come near to the body of their loved one. When our Lord Jesus came 2000 years ago, He redefined who are considered to be family members, “While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.” But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:46-50

Jesus Christ also redefined what is considered life and death. Life is being alive to God, through Him, and blossoming with the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Death is being dead to God, rejection of His Son Jesus Christ, and not having any signs of the Holy Spirit. In fact, Christ Jesus said to let the dead bury their own dead, “Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:59-60

Faithful ministers keep themselves free of sin through Jesus Christ. “After he is cleansed, they shall count seven days for him. And on the day that he goes to the sanctuary to minister in the sanctuary, he must offer his sin offering in the inner court,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 44:26-27

The priests, during the days of Ezekiel, had to offer a sin offering before entering into the sanctuary of the temple. As is obvious, the earthly priests have inherited sin. We have a Priest, whose name is Jesus Christ, who is sinless and never had a need to atone for His own sin. When He atoned for our sin on the altar of the Cross, that was done once and for everyone, as quoted, “For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.” Hebrews 7:27

Today, we who live for Jesus Christ are the ministers of His Gospel, to shine the light of His Good News, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…” 1 Peter 2:9 We are His faithful few ministers in this atheistic world that denies God, rejects Jesus Christ, and oppresses the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We are able to stay in the sanctuary of God, in the presence of His Spirit, through Jesus Christ. We embrace our Lord Jesus twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:19-21

“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” 1 John 2:1-2

As followers of Jesus Christ, we live on His provisions.
God is our inheritance through Jesus Christ. “It shall be, in regard to their inheritance, that I am their inheritance. You shall give them no possession in Israel, for I am their possession.” Ezekiel 44:28

In the Old Testament, the priests [the Tribe of Levi] did not receive an inheritance of earthly prosperity for themselves. The duty of the priests was solely to perform the priestly duties over all the other tribes of Israel, and those duties included doing the animal sacrifices to make atonement for the sin of all the Jewish people. The priests would make a living on those sacrifices. For example, sacrifices were made by draining the blood from the animal and the blood was used to sanctify the altar outside the inner sanctuary and the mercy seat of the inner sanctuary. Parts of the meat of the sacrificed animal would go to the priests for their consumption. For the sin offering and trespass offering the priests were given the meat of rams, lamb, cow, goat, doves, or pigeons. For the grain offering, the priests were given fine flour, oil, salt, and even the fragrance of frankincense.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are His priests because we minister His Gospel to others, we want them to know that atonement for sin has been made for them through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God and He is our possession in that all we have is through Him. We can be assured that today’s culture is not designed to make the followers of Jesus Christ prosperous in this world. Those who serve the entity giving them what to think, feel, do, and say come first in this world, but we who are last in this world will be first in the New Jerusalem, “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Matthew 19:29-30

The Holy Spirit in us is the guarantee of our inheritance and all that we will possess in the New Jerusalem, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

As followers of Jesus Christ, we do not look for earthly reimbursement for sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ. We live by the words of our Lord Jesus who said, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

We feed on the Bread of Life, who is Jesus Christ. “They shall eat the grain offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering; every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.” Ezekiel 44:29

As described in the previous section, the priests would eat of the grain offering, sin offering, and the trespass offering. Everything brought to them in that way would be theirs. As followers of Jesus Christ, the Spirit wants us to feed on those same offerings, which relates to our spirit and soul.

The grain offering relates to our voluntary devotion to God through Jesus Christ and willingly sharing the Gospel of Christ. We willingly devote our life to the Bread of Life, who is Jesus Christ.

The sin offering relates to the process of sanctification and becoming more Christ-like as time progresses. Each day we perfect our walk in Holiness by burning our sin in the fire of the Holy Spirit. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification…For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3, 7-8

The trespass/guilt offering relates to when we do something wrong, or unintentionally did something wrong, or if we just wanted to come to make ourselves right with Christ just in case we did something wrong.

“Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” James 1:18

We are given the firstfruits, sacrifices, and ground meal to live on. “The best of all firstfruits of any kind, and every sacrifice of any kind from all your sacrifices, shall be the priest’s; also you shall give to the priest the first of your ground meal, to cause a blessing to rest on your house.” Ezekiel 44:30

As Believers of Jesus Christ and ministers of the Gospel of Christ, God wants us to have the very best of everything He has to offer, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.’ James 1:17 He wants our spirit to blossom with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, “... the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23

God also wants those who live for Jesus Christ to give Him the very best of our life and to give Him the “meal offering”. We do that by devoting ourselves to the word of God, to embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit, and to be a sweet aroma to Him, “For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” 2 Corinthians 2:15 The greatest offering of all is the living sacrifice of self, the offering of devotion to God through Jesus Christ.

We are not to eat anything that dies naturally or is torn by beasts. “The priests shall not eat anything, bird or beast, that died naturally or was torn by wild beasts.” Ezekiel 44:31

If an animal died naturally, no doubt it would be unfit for consumption, either due to death by disease or the meat being too old to be healthy. If an animal died by a wild beast, this would be pretty much like finding “roadkill” along the roadside nowadays. Most importantly, when it came to making sacrifices, from which the priests ate from, the animals had to have its life within them, be young, healthy, and without blemish. Also, the blood was completely drained, unlike what would be found in animals that died naturally or were killed by another animal. Of utmost importance, when it comes to food for our Spirit, we feed on life, the Bread of Life, the pure and unblemished Lamb of God.

Death is something that God does not want us to feed on nor have any part in. Jesus came to give us life, an abundance of life, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 The way to have that life is by believing in Jesus Christ, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 10:10

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” John 6:47-51

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
