A word spoken from God against the leader of an armed rebellion.
Supplier of global armament is compared to a great tree. “Now it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his multitude: Whom are you like in your greatness? Indeed Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon, with fine branches that shaded the forest, and of high stature; And its top was among the thick boughs.” Ezekiel 31:1-3.

God is having Ezekiel to use the image of a great tree to describe Egypt as a nation with all of its allies. In Ezekiel chapter 17, Egypt is described as a great eagle in comparison to the great eagle of multi-colored feathers of the global government of that day (Babylon). Today, “Egypt” represents America as that great tree and also the great eagle that is known to have global influence in economics and militarily. The great eagle with “multi-colored feathers” is the United Nations. America has many global allies that are dependent on military empowerment and the global reach of America is considered a rival/nemesis to the global government. Egypt was the power behind weaponizing the Israelites to rebel against the king of Babylon (Ezekiel 17:15), like America is the power behind weaponizing the government of the State of Israel and other countries around the world.

Egypt is being compared to Assyria in its greatness and Assyria was well known for its military prowess. Today, we know that describes America because America’s military presence branches out across the globe. America’s military reach includes countries such as Israel, South Korea, the NATO allies, Ukraine, Philippines, basically the whole region of the South China Seas, Taiwan, places within Africa, and more. America is seen by the other members of the United Nations and its global culture as preventing the establishment of the one world government. By the use of military tactics, regions around the world are not being unified. South Korea is not being unified with North Korea, Israel is not being unified with the Middle East, NATO forces are not unifying with the eastern world, Ukraine is not unifying with Russia/Europe, Taiwan is not unifying with China, etc. The members of the United Nations and its global culture wants regional unification to establish the one world government.

America grew to be of high stature with its top being among the thick boughs, which symbolizes America sitting in a powerful seat among the members of the United Nations. As quoted, “Because your heart is lifted up, and you say, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, in the midst of the seas,’ Yet you are a man, and not a god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god.” Ezekiel 28:2 Click for a post on Ezekiel 28.

Jesus Christ causes us to grow in the Kingdom of God not the kingdom of this world, “Then He said, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches…Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” Luke 13:18-19, 24 Jesus Christ is the narrow gate by which we enter into the Kingdom of God.

Underground waters and rivers gave the mighty tree growth and height. “The waters made it grow; Underground waters gave it height, with their rivers running around the place where it was planted, and sent out rivulets to all the trees of the field.” Ezekiel 31:4

Egypt had waters/resources to make it grow as a powerful country, second only to the Babylonian empire under king Nebuchadnezzar. The underground waters are the avenues not seen in broad daylight by other countries and were hidden from view. These underground waters were like rivers running all around Egypt as rivulets were sent out to countries all around. Those rivulets were hidden channels of military aid to the Israelites and other countries.

Today, it’s obvious that America has had waters/resources to make her grow into a mighty nation in the world, rivaling the United Nations. America also thrives in her underground waters that include activity that is not known publicly and not within the scope of the activity of the United Nations. Those underground activities are like rivers that send out American influence and power to other nations. This underground influence relates to military operations and activities that would not be otherwise approved by the members of the United Nations.

Publicly, we see how America’s military and economic influence is across the globe. America is accused of blocking regional unification which prevents the United Nations from being established as the one world government. From that, we can only imagine what America’s underground operations might be. For example, publicly, America aids South Korea militarily and is accused of preventing unification with North Korea. The same is true between Taiwan and China, Israel and the Middle East, Ukraine and Russia/Europe, the NATO allies with the eastern side of the world etc. The members of the United Nations need regions to be unified so that they can establish themselves as the one world government.

The hidden waters of the soul that Jesus Christ gives to us are not like the underground waters of this world. Jesus says to us, “But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14 The water of spiritual life springing up within us has nothing to do with secretly causing aggression, violence, conflict, and chaos to arise. As followers of Jesus Christ, we want to leave rivulets of His Spirit wherever we go, maybe not overtly in what we say publicly, but in the stillness of His Spirit. Jesus Christ gives us the Spirit of life and Salvation, “For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” Luke 9:56

Exalted above all the other trees and had long branches. “‘Therefore its height was exalted above all the trees of the field; Its boughs were multiplied, and its branches became long because of the abundance of water, as it sent them out. All the birds of the heavens made their nests in its boughs; Under its branches all the beasts of the field brought forth their young; And in its shadow all great nations made their home.” Ezekiel 31:5-6

As we see today, the height of America has been exalted worldwide above all the other countries of the field (world). America has always been a leader of nations and still is in many forms but becoming less so day by day. Because of the abundance of water/resources, the main branches of America were multiplied globally from where other branches grew from. America was a fruitful land of immigration with all the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field living in and under its branches. Many great nations made their home in the shadow of America’s prestige, power, economy, and military.

As we see in verses 10-11, America is given into the hands of the world government and its global culture.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are not looking for a great nation to belong to on this earth, our great nation is the eternal New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. The Kingdom of God is not something that we will ever see being built on this earth. The Paradise of God is not built through the “sustainability goals” of the United Nations, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21

The Kingdom of God, or Holy Spirit in us, is our guarantee of our eternal inheritance within the New Jerusalem, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

Beautiful in greatness and in the length of branches because of abundant waters. “‘Thus it was beautiful in greatness and in the length of its branches, because its roots reached to abundant waters. The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it; The fir trees were not like its boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like its branches; No tree in the garden of God was like it in beauty.” Ezekiel 31:7-8

America was beautiful in her greatness and in the global reach of her branches. There is even a song called “America the Beautiful” that was sung frequently when I was a young boy but is never heard about or sung anymore. This is a song that lifts up God in singing about the beauty of America. Here’s an example from two verses of the song, “O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed His grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea!”

That greatness and global reach was made possible because of the abundant waters nourishing her roots. The nourishment of her roots came by the abundance of resources, economic productivity, wealth, and military prowess. America had something to offer nations around the world, and many nations welcomed her. The greatest of nations could not overshadow America’s global presence. There were no other nations that could compare to America’s main branches nor to the branches sprouting from the main branch. America was incomparable in its deep rooted and branched out presence in the world. There was no other nation in the world like the beauty of America.

While America became rooted in ways to make herself a global powerhouse, God roots us as individuals in Jesus Christ, “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.” Psalms 1:3-5

God made it beautiful with a multitude of branches. “I made it beautiful with a multitude of branches, so that all the trees of Eden envied it, that were in the garden of God.’” Ezekiel 31:9

The phrase, “…all the trees of Eden envied it, that were in the garden of God.’” was referring to Egypt with beginnings that were comparable to the beauty of the Garden of Eden. Before Egypt took another path. This also refers to the beginnings of America that were more beautiful than other nation in the world relating to a relationship with God and Jesus the Christ. Before America took another path.

The beauty of America’s greatness was founded on belief in the Living God, with a warm welcome to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and eager to embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit within the social fabric. Anyone who doubts America’s Godly foundations only has to look around at all the churches, there is one on practically every street block, or as the cliche goes, “a church on every street corner”.

America was beautiful in the multitude of her branches stretching out with Holiness across the globe. She truly lifted up the light of liberty, life, justice, and the pursuit of happiness for all people of all nations. The world truly knew that America was the land of the free and she was envied around the world.

“Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness...Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, it shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.” Psalms 29:1-2, Psalms 96:9-10

God delivers the great tree into the mighty one of the nations.
Great tree exalted self above God and is given to the world government of the beast. “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have increased in height, and it set its top among the thick boughs, and its heart was lifted up in its height, therefore I will deliver it into the hand of the mighty one of the nations, and he shall surely deal with it; I have driven it out for its wickedness.” Ezekiel 31:10-11

Egypt became a top power among the other nations and Pharoah began to exalt Egypt above the other nations. King Nebuchadnezzar, of Babylon, didn’t like Egypt growing and rivaling the power of the Babylonian empire. In that situation, God brought king Nebuchadnezzar, the mighty one of the nations, against Egypt. God used Nebuchadnezzar to drive out Egypt’s wickedness, a wickedness that supplied military aid to the Israelites and other countries.

Egypt represents America. America “increased in height” refers to her global prestige and power. She was set “among the thick boughs” refers to being among the most powerful of the nations of the world, such as setting as an elite member of the United Nations. America excelled among the members of the UN and whose power rivaled that of the United Nations itself. America’s “heart was lifted up” above the will of God as her Holiness was corrupted by global political, military, and economic power.

God uses the world government and its global culture to bring His judgment on this earth, and against America. “The mighty one of the nations” is the entity that controls the will of the members of the United Nations, and America will be given into its hand. God says this of that entity, “For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’” Isaiah 14:13-14 In Ezekiel chapter 1, this entity is associated with the vision of the space satellites, space station, and space shuttle. This one cannot bear to be overshadowed by the global reach and power of America.

The “mighty one of the nations” is the one “...who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. Our body is the temple of God, and the one that sits in the temple of God as God does so by giving people what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every nation around the world. The masses of people are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

The global greatness of America has fallen into spiritual wickedness and is targeted by the hand of the “mighty one of the nations”, according to the judgment of God. This “mighty one” is the power behind the United Nations and its global culture and demands to be exalted above every nation in order to be established as the one world government. As America’s global reach, prestige, wealth and military prowess declines, the power of the United Nations increases as the one world government.

We can assess that it is “Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.” Proverbs 16:19 The diagnosis is that too many people and nations want to exalt themselves above the will of God, as today’s culture boast in their demeanor, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:4 Our plan is to learn from our Lord Jeus who said, “…learn of me, because I am meek, and humble of heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.” Matthew 11:29 We implement that plan by living for Jesus the Christ who gives us a humble, meek, and gentle Spirit of peace. We know that plan is successful when our spirit shines in the attitude, of, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36

Aliens, the terrible of the nations, bring down the great tree. “And aliens, the most terrible of the nations, have cut it down and left it; its branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys; its boughs lie broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the peoples of the earth have gone from under its shadow and left it.” Ezekiel 31:12

The prophecies of Ezekiel are more like the current headlines. Today, we see aliens, the most terrible of the nations, chopping away at America to bring her down. The aliens, the most terrible of the nations, play a role in bringing down America on the highest mountains, which refers to depowering America within the United Nations. America is also brought down in the lowest of valleys, referring to America’s loss of influence within the grassroots masses of people of the global culture. America’s branches lie broken beside all the rivers, refers to America’s global reach and influence being dismantled. All the nations and people of the earth leave from America’s shadow, referring to America’s allies disassociating themselves with America.

To ask who the aliens are, the most terrible of nations, would be a rhetorical question because anyone can answer that question today. They are the aliens crossing the border of America by the thousands every day and also includes the actions of nations such as China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, etc. It is no secret that the illegal aliens that are crossing the border includes terrorists from Iran and other places who are in America today. On top of that, China and Russia routinely engage in cyber-attacks against America, routine spying, election interference, spy balloons, and basically the security and walls of America have been broken down. It’s impossible to download an app without it being some type of spy tool. Then the list would be endless to speak of America being plagued with conflict, division, a drug epidemic, crime, violence, corruption everywhere, mass shootings, protests and riots against America, Israel, and America’s allies etc.

It is no coincidence that atheism is the driving force behind the collapse of America, a collapse happening at the most powerful of places and reaching into the grassroot populations of people in cities around the world. The entity that has power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, do, and say is atheism, the same as China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and basically the overwhelming majority of the United Nations. America, Israel, and all of America’s allies are being come against by the highest places of world government to the street level global culture. The atheistic entity that gives people what to think, say, do, and feel enlivens the image of the beast to speak and live through people from the highest of places to the grassroot level. The people of today’s world culture are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure:” Psalms 2:1-6

In these dark and stormy days, Jesus Christ is the anchor of our soul and our hope, “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast,” Hebrews 6:19 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3

No nation will ever again be able to exalt themselves above the one world government. “‘On its ruin will remain all the birds of the heavens, and all the beasts of the field will come to its branches—So that no trees by the waters may ever again exalt themselves for their height, nor set their tops among the thick boughs, that no tree which drinks water may ever be high enough to reach up to them.” Ezekiel 31:13-14a

The ruin of America is pretty much here today in many ways within America’s borders. The ruin of America also happens as her global reach is broken, her power and prestige undermined, and her economy and military no longer a global factor. In America’s collapse, she will never be able to rise again, never made great again as a global influence. This is the goal of the United Nations, to bring every country under its dominion to exalt itself as the one world government.

Once America falls, on her ruins will remain all the birds of heaven and all the beasts of the fields. In other words, the global culture within America will ensure that America never rises again. Their presence will ensure America never rises again as a Christian nation, never to become a land of wealth and luxury, never to rise with military dominion in the world. The global culture lives by the entity governing through their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. This entity enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them as they detest God, Jesus Christ, the presence of the Holy Spirit, Christianity, and Israel. They detest any wealth that is independent of the global treasury, and they detest any military that functions independently of the will of the United Nations/one world government. The masses of people around the world are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to do and say.

During this time of America’s fall as a global economic and military power, no country will ever again be able to exalt themselves on the same level as the United Nations/one world government. The nations will be subdued to never be able to reach equality with the global power and authority of the United Nations. This means that nations around the world will lose their independence to the will of the one world government. South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, the NATO allies, Philippines, territories of the South China Seas, etc. will no longer have their independence through American support. There will be regional unification in order to establish the United Nations as the atheistic one world government of the beast.

We can assess that as followers of Jesus Christ, we grow in His grace and knowledge and are “… like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season…” Psalms 1:3 The diagnosis is that this present world system, as the one world government, and the nations united, will be uprooted and collapse to never rise again. We plan to live humbly with God through Jesus Christ and never seek to exalt ourselves in the ways of this world. We implement that plan by setting our mind on storing up treasures in heaven and letting go of the glory and esteem of this world. We know that plan is successful when the things of earth grows strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

All nations associated with the great tree are delivered to the Pit. “‘For they have all been delivered to death, to the depths of the earth, among the children of men who go down to the Pit.’” Ezekiel 31:14b.

“For they have all” refers to every single country/nation that has had ambitions of achieving global power and prestige above that of the United Nations/one world government. Especially America. This includes every country that exalts their own independence above the countries of the region they reside in. For example, Israel is expected to unify with the Middle East, South Korea is expected to unify with North Korea, Ukraine is expected to unify with Russia/Europe, Taiwan is expected to unify with China, NATAO allies expected to unify with all of Europe, and so on. With regional unification, the United Nations is able to establish itself as the one world government.

“They have all been delivered to death” refers to all the countries, including America, dying to their own culture, laws, and constitutions to conform to the will of the United Nations. That is how the UN becomes established as the one world government. Even today, the global “sustainability goals” have been adopted by countries around the world. Within America, the “sustainability goals” flow from every level of government official from the local, to state, to national level. The educational system teaches them to every grade level from kindergarten to twelfth grade and into college.

Just a glance at the chart below and you will see that in one way or another you have been exposed to the will of the United Nations for your life,

The goals of the United Nations seem angelic and sent from heaven on the wings of an angel, but we do not worship angels, we serve God Himself through Jesus Christ by the infilling of the Holy Spirit, “Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.” Colossians 2:18-19

While the sustainability goals seem angelic and righteous on the surface, we need to remember that those who promote those goals are the same ones who call the killing of the unborn, “Reproductive Freedom” and the promotion of the LGBQT lifestyles is done through the “Respect for Marriage Act” etc. Nothing they say can be accepted at face value. “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15

The angelic image of humanism is the fig leaf they use to cover the anti-God, anti-Christ, and anti-Holy Spirit entity that gives people what to feel, think, say, and do. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.” They serve the creature rather than the Creator.

All the people and nations that accept the values of this world system will be sent “…to the depths of the earth, among the children of men who go down to the Pit.” They are on a destiny to the eternal Pit of hell. That’s because they are accepting the atheistic entity that gives them what to think, feel, do and say as it replaces the human conscience and spirit. By hardening the conscience and spirit, a wall is built against receiving Jesus Christ. This allows the entity governing through thoughts and feelings to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. They are the global culture that are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

In America, we can see how the “sustainability goals” of the United Nations have gained more importance than the foundations America was built on. The churches have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they exalt angelic community values above the will of God. Government lawmakers no longer integrate the values of the Bible into policies and laws as the “sustainability goals” have become their guiding principles. The educational system does not allow the teachings of the Bible in the classrooms, but students everywhere have learned to protest in favor of various “sustainability goals.”

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness…professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things…who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Romans 1:18, 22-23, 25

God brings down to hell the great tree and all of its affiliates.
God caused mourning, restrained the rivers, held back the great waters, and trees wilted. “Thus says the Lord God: ‘In the day when it went down to hell, I caused mourning. I covered the deep because of it. I restrained its rivers, and the great waters were held back. I caused Lebanon to be darkened, and all the trees of the field wilted because of it.” Ezekiel 31:15

When Egypt was cast down to the very worst place possible on this earth, God caused mourning among those who depended on her for military and economic aid. The Israelites were among those receiving armaments from Egypt. God moved to restrain all the rivers that was flowing with armaments, and all the great waters of every other type of resources were held back. Every single nation that was dependent on Egypt wilted.

Today, we see how America is being cast down to the contemporary hell of this world. America has been the supplier of military aid and economic support to countries around the world. Countries such as Israel, Taiwan, South Korea, the NATO allies, Ukraine, Philippines, etc. Within the borders of America there is chaos everywhere and countries once dependent on her are now mourning their impending doom. God restrains the rivers of America that once flowed with armaments, and the great waters of resources and global support are being held back. The allied trees of America’s global field are wilting.

While those of this world believe that hell does not go beyond this earth, the Holy Bible teaches us that hell is an eternal place beyond the grave. It’s a place of eternal torment in the lake of fire for those who turn from the will of God for us to receive Jesus Christ and that oppresses the presence of the Holy Spirit. As quoted from Daniel 12:2 “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Also quoted from Revelation 20:13-15 “And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and each one was judged according to their deeds. And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. And if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” In eternal hell beyond the grave, there is torment, mourning, weeping, and gnashing of teeth.

In life beyond the grave, God cuts off the rivers of hell from ever flowing again and holds back the great waters of sin, death, and rebellion. Hell is the fire Pit where all wickedness is restrained. We who believe in God through Jesus Christ will live in the New Jerusalem, where pure rivers of life flow freely from the throne of God and of the Lamb, “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Revelation 22:1

Those in hell will live in eternal darkness, that they loved so much on this earth, “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19 In the New Jerusalem, there is eternal light, “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.” Revelation 22:23

Hell is a place where the trees forever wilt, compared to the tree of life in the New Jerusalem, “In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:2

God sent His Son Jesus Christ so that whoever believes in Him will not perish in hell but have eternal life in the New Jerusalem, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Jesus Christ says, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:6-8

God made the nations shake at the fall of the great tree which lands in hell. “I made the nations shake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to hell together with those who descend into the Pit; and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the depths of the earth.” Ezekiel 31:16

As we see in the next verse, “all the trees of Eden” also went down to hell with Egypt.

When Egypt fell into the Pit of hell, all the nations receiving military aid and economic support from her were shaken. Shaken by being left vulnerable to the wrath of king Nebuchadnezzar. In the previous verse, Lebanon was darkened, and all the trees wilted, “I caused Lebanon to be darkened, and all the trees of the field wilted because of it…” In this verse, all the choice and best trees of Lebanon were comforted at Egypt’s fall. They were comforted in the sense that misery loves company, which implies that people who are unhappy and in pain feels avenged in knowing they’re not alone in their suffering because others are miserable, too.

When America falls completely into the Pit of hell on this earth, the nations once receiving military and economic support from her will be shaken. Taiwan will be shaken to be at the mercy of China, South Korea will be shaken to be at mercy of North Korea, Israel will be shaken to be at the mercy of the Middle East region, NATO will be shaken to be at the mercy of the eastern side of the world, etc. The world government of the beast will have them all under its thumb in the process of the United Nations being established as the one world government. All of the fallen nations will be living the cliche, misery loves company, as they see the fall of America as well. Envision how they might feel if they were fallen, and America stood strong as a world power economically and militarily.

The only cliche that exists in the Pit of hell will be, misery loves company (as if there will be any cliches at all). This refers to the Pit of hell that exists beyond the grave, reserved for those who mock God, scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ and blasphemes the presence of the Holy Spirit. This is the place where all those who choose to serve the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say will be. That’s because this entity exalts itself above God by enabling the image of the beast to live and speak through people. Masses of people across the globe form the global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. They “...will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever.” Revelation 14:10-11

We can assess that after we die, we who believe in Jesus Christ will be resurrected to eternal life to live forever in the New Jerusalem with Him and His Father. The diagnosis is that unbelievers will be cast down to the eternal Pit of hell, where misery loves company. We plan to believe in the love of God, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 The implementation of this plan is “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 We know the plan is successful when the Holy Spirit lives in us, our guarantee of eternal life, “...having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…” Ephesians 1:13-14

God made the affiliates of the great tree to do down to hell too. “They also went down to hell with it, with those slain by the sword; and those who were its strong arm dwelt in its shadows among the nations.” Ezekiel 31:17

All the nations that were allied with America in receiving armament and funding will go down to hell with her. Along with all of the strong global branches of America. That’s because they rely on power, might, guns, and bombs instead of relying on Jesus the Christ. God has made it very clear that physical might, violence, and reliance on military ingenuity is not His way. “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 In fact, violence, rebellion, insurrection, and armed aggression is turning away from the will of God. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of peace and good news, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15 This is spoken at the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:14

The disciples of Jesus Christ often felt the urge or necessity to use aggressive force against those being forceful with Him, but Jesus said “NO!” “But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.” Luke 9:53-56

The Holy Spirit speaks through the Apostle Paul these words, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 The armor we wear includes peace, righteousness, faith, truth, Salvation, the word of God, and prayer. Click for Ephesians 6:10-20. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:29 To be like Jesus, this hope possesses me.

We live in a world culture that hears through the entity that gives them what to feel, think, say, and do. They are very abrasive, bold, and filled with conflict towards us followers of Jesus Christ. We might feel the urge to lash out with physical or verbal aggression, but Jesus Christ says to us, “NO!” Allow them to do what they are doing because this is their hour and the power of darkness. When the authorities of the world came to arrest Jesus, one of His disciples cut the ear off of the servant of the high priest. Like cutting off the hearing of someone serving the entity that governs through their thoughts and feelings. Jesus healed the man’s ear, “But Jesus answered and said, “Permit even this.” And He touched his ear and healed him…this is your hour, and the power of darkness” Luke 22:47-53

God brings down the glory and greatness of the great tree and its subsidiaries. “‘To which of the trees in Eden will you then be likened in glory and greatness? Yet you shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the depths of the earth; you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 31:18

When America’s global greatness and glory is subdued, and all the other nations subdued with her, there will be no comparison of greatness. There will be no beauty in which to be compared to the beautiful trees of Eden. That is the goal of the United Nations as it transitions into the one world government, to bring equality to all nations. However, that equality is brought through the atheistic and blasphemous entity that gives people what to think, feel, do and say. That entity equalizes peoples and nations by enabling the image of the beast to live and speak through them, which synchronizes them to the same purpose. The masses of the global culture are equalized as they are groomed to the mark of the beast in what they are given to say and do.

While people and nations are being equalized, the global government exalts itself above all peoples and nations as it sets itself up as God. America will lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, which are those that have no affiliation with the American culture, they deny God, scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ and oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. They are slain by the sword wielded by the world government and its global culture. This is America and all of her allies that depended on military and economic strength instead of living for God through Jesus Christ.

There is especially no greatness nor glory in eternal hell that exists beyond the grave, known as the lake of fire. When looking around at the agony and torment in hell, there will be no glory or greatness to be compared to. Yet, those who exalt themselves above the will of God, and think their own glory and greatness is greater than that of Jesus Christ, will find themselves in the eternal Pit of hell. All people will be equal in their uncircumcision, which is their mockery of God, scoffing at Jesus Christ, and blaspheming the Holy Spirit. They will be equal in their eternal torment and agony.

Jesus Christ says to us, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30 “The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; He who keeps his way preserves his soul. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.” Proverbs 16:17-19
