Israel is like a lioness who lays down with the lions and raised two lion cubs, that she lost.

Israel lays down like a lioness among the lions and has cubs.
“Moreover take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel, and say, Ezekiel, ‘What is your mother? A lioness: She lay down among the lions; among the young lions she nourished her cubs.” Ezekiel 19:2b. 19:1-2.

God had given Ezekiel a message of grief and sorrow for the princes of Israel. The princes are those who govern over the Israelites. The grieving message is that the governors have been raised by a mother who is a lioness that lays down with the lions. In other words, the governors are raised in an atmosphere of violence. Lions catch their prey and devour people. The mother of the Israelites had raised her cubs (the leaders of Israel) to be a devouring lion.

Today, there is grief and sorrow for the governors of the State of Israel. All through the years, from the time of the birth of the Jewish State in 1948, the rulers have been raised as lions. In a sense, one can say that the State of Israel is the mother of lions. Israel lays down with the lions in the sense that she is surrounded by those who seek to devour her like prey. The Israelis have been involved in 18 claw-to-claw wars since 1948, and even a war in 1948. Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. Within the den of lions of the Middle East, Israel has nourished her cubs. In other words, the governors of Israel have become devouring lions among the lions they are laying with.

The first cub is captured and brought in chains to the United States.
Israel’s first cub grew to catch prey and devour men. “She brought up one of her cubs, and he became a young lion; He learned to catch prey, and he devoured men.” Ezekiel 19:3

The first lion cub of the State of Israel was born in 1948, with the declaration of Israel as a state. This cub was the initial stage of Israel’s military prowess. In the region of the Middle East, the governors learned to catch prey and devour men, as is evident in the claw-to-claw fighting in the region (click and scroll to bottom of page). During this first stage of fighting, the governors of the State of Israel were relying on the USA for military support. That support came from intelligence, training, money, equipment, etc. In fact, the leaders of Israel were answering to the United States for their part in the region’s conflict. Click the following link for a post on that, Israel rebels against the will of the United Nations by arming itself through the United States.

The news of the first lion reaches the nations and is put in chains and brought to the USA. “The nations also heard of him; He was trapped in their pit, and they brought him with chains to the land of Egypt.” Ezekiel 19:4

After the State of Israel was established in 1948, the nations of the world quickly heard of the military engagements of Israel (click and scroll to bottom of page). The Israelis were showing their willingness to fight, to win, and to achieve in many areas within a den of lions. The members of the United Nations began to seek an effective way to subdue the aggression of the Israelis. They sought the cooperation of the United States to silence the roar coming from the State of Israel.

The phrase, “…they brought him with chains to the land of Egypt…” refers to restraining the aggression of the Israelis by holding them responsible to the United States. This is like holding someone in handcuffs to be escorted to a court hearing for judgment. The United States has always held powerful influence over the actions of the State of Israel. Not so much nowadays. In fact, the second lion cub, in the next section, is brought to the United Nations to be judged in the international court.

The United States is portrayed as Egypt in the following post, Israel rebels against the will of the United Nations by arming itself through the United States.

The phrase, “He was trapped in their pit…” refers to the governors of Israel being caught in the trap of the international community. The roar of Israel is not meant to be heard in opposition to the will of the global government. The will of the UN is to quiet, subdue, and devour the independence of the State of Israel. The United Nations intend to establish themselves as the one world government, and the roar of the independence of Israel stands in their way.

The second cub is captured by the surrounding countries and brought in chains to the United Nations.
In desperation, Israel raises the second lion to catch prey and devour men. “‘When she saw that she waited, that her hope was lost, she took another of her cubs and made him a young lion. He roved among the lions, and became a young lion; He learned to catch prey; He devoured men.” Ezekiel 19:5-6

The phrase, “When she saw that she waited, that her hope was lost…” refers to the State of Israel waiting for peace and freedom to come but losing hope of being free from the pressure to conform to the will of the hostile countries around her. A peace solution for the region was drafted in 1947, when the United Nations approved the declaration of the State of Israel. However, it was never brought into reality because of opposing views in the Middle East and disagreement between members of the United Nations. Israel has waited and waited and waited for peace and freedom to come but that hope has now been lost.

Israel’s hope was lost when the United States began to advise Israel to refrain from using military aggression in the Middle East region (Except against the “War on Terror” as allowed by the laws of the United Nations). Around February 20, 2024, the United States declared that it was illegal for the Israelis to occupy the West Bank. Click here for news article on “White House reverses West Bank policy, calling Israeli settlements illegal“. Also, US Imposes Sanctions On Israeli Settler Outposts. This is in conformity to the will of the United Nations and in preparation of establishing the “Two State Solution”. This is something the governors of the State of Israel is reluctant to do, and in recent days has bluntly spoken against.

The self-determination of the State of Israel continues to progress against the advice of the United States, the United Nations, and the will of God. This is like the second lion that continues to catch prey and devour men, after the first lion was subdued. The first lion seemed to have had the full and unwavering support of the United States, but when that hope was shattered, “…she took another of her cubs and made him a young lion. He roved among the lions, and became a young lion; He learned to catch prey; He devoured men.”

Israel’s second lion is able to desolate surrounding territories. “He knew their desolate places, and laid waste their cities; The land with its fullness was desolated by the noise of his roaring.” Ezekiel 19:7

This verse describes exactly what we have been watching the Israelis do in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, to this date, February 26, 2024. The governors of Israel know all of the desolate places where the terrorist organization Hamas is hiding. “Desolate places” refers to the places of the terrorists. Unfortunately, those desolate places are from one end of the Gaza Strip to the next, from north to south and east to west. The cities of Gaza are literally being laid waste. The terrorists hide in tunnels under hospitals, schools, homes, busy streets, etc. and it is all being destroyed. The land of Gaza with its fulness is being desolated by the noise of the roaring of Israel’s second lion.

Unfortunately for the existence of the State of Israel, the wrath of the international community (the members of the United Nations) is coming against Israel. The wrath of God’s judgment comes against Israel by the hand of the global government, as we see in the next verses.

Surrounding countries come against Israel on every side. “Then the nations set against him from the provinces on every side, and spread their net over him; He was trapped in their pit.” Ezekiel 19:8

The message in today’s world is that aggression and violence of any type is a violation of community standards, locally or globally. Especially when that aggression comes against the will of the goals of the United Nations. That is the pit Israel’s aggression falls in and is the net spread over her roaring lion. It’s the way of the global culture. Because of the aggression coming through the State of Israel, the nations are set against the roaring of her lion, “Then the nations set against him from the provinces on every side…”.

Today, we see the nations coming against the aggression of Israel from every side. It goes beyond the opposition coming from the hostile countries that constantly put the Israelis at war. The Israelis have been involved in 18 wars since 1948, Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page.

The opposition against Israel comes from the global culture that protests against her in cities around the world. Even the citizens of the United States of America show more support for the Palestinians than they do Israel. The Israeli citizens protest and riot against their own government to demand conformity to the will of the United Nations. The members of the United Nations have passed laws against the aggressive activities of Israel. Even the United States refuses to stand with Israel against the goal of the United Nations for peace and stability in the Middle East.

Why is there so much global resistance to the State of Israel? Because the world government and its global culture lives by the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. People everywhere are synchronized to the will of the government of the beast by what they say and do. This entity denies God, discards the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and oppresses the presence of the Holy Spirit. The global culture detests the existence of Israel and Christianity. The anti-Christian culture is groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

Israel’s second lion is put in chains and brought to the United Nations. “They put him in a cage with chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon; They brought him in nets, that his voice should no longer be heard on the mountains of Israel.” Ezekiel 19:9

The first lion of Israel’s aggression was put in chains and brought to the United States to be subdued. Israel’s aggression continued with a second lion. The second lion is put in a cage and put in chains while being brought to be judged by the members of the United Nations (government of the beast).

Today, we see Israel being judged on a level above the authority of the United States. Even as I type this, the International Court of Justice has opened a case of genocide against Israel. World Court to hear Genocide Case Against Israel. At the same time, the United States of America has aligned itself with the international laws of the United Nations. The USA has declared it to be illegal for the Israelis to settle in the West Bank, “White House reverses West Bank policy, calling Israeli settlements illegal“. Also, US Imposes Sanctions On Israeli Settler Outposts. Indeed, the voice of dissent of Israel (dissenting from the will of the global government) is being silenced. As is the lion’s roaring voice of aggression, “They brought him in nets, that his voice should no longer be heard on the mountains of Israel.” Ezekiel 19:9

The Holy Spirit says this to us all, “Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:17-19

The State of Israel began prosperously but ends withered when the east wind blows.
In 1948, the State of Israel was planted by waters and became fruitful. “‘Your mother was like a vine in your bloodline, planted by the waters, fruitful and full of branches because of many waters.” Ezekiel 19:10

The State of Israel, who was the mother of two roaring and devouring lions, was planted by waters and became fruitful with many branches. The United Nations approved the declaration of the State of Israel in 1947. In 1948, the declaration was publicly declared, and the Jewish people began to migrate from across the globe (mostly from Europe) to the land of Israel. The State of Israel was planted and began to grow with fruitfulness.

The fruitfulness of Israel and her branches are described below, in part.

The State of Israel has produced many Nobel Peace Prize recipients for their contributions to humanity. Numerous medalists of the international Olympic games have come from Israel. Their stock market is connected to international nations. International tech companies like IBM and INTEL have set up offices in Israel. The Israelis are recognized internationally for their high-tech achievements and in 2018 were recognized as being in the top ten most innovatively powerful nations. Tel-Aviv has been named internationally as a high-tech start-up capital. The State of Israel has an international airline and is a world leader in the dairy industry. With their technology, they help other nations to grow crops in the desert and to de-salt water to serve the needs of the domestic population. Israel had a record-breaking year for their economy around 2017 and in that year, Miss Israel starred as “Wonder Woman”.

The State of Israel became influential and notable as an independent state. “She had strong branches for scepters of rulers, she towered in stature above the thick branches, and was seen in her height amid the dense foliage.” Ezekiel 19:11

The phrase, “She had strong branches for scepters of rulers…” refers to Israel’s government being strong and branching out towards international influence. Being a member of the United Nations is part of that. Also, the governors of the State of Israel have definitely had a strong relationship with the United States, one of the most powerful nations in the world. The USA has often used its influence on behalf of Israel within the assembly of the United Nations, and in other ways around the world. The USA is the largest trading partner of Israel because the eastern countries definitely are not. The USA has also empowered Israel militarily, with intelligence, training, money, equipment etc.

“…she towered in stature above the thick branches, and was seen in her height amid the dense foliage.” Being surrounded by hostile nations is definitely being amid dense foliage. The ability to stand for democracy in that hostile region shows her ability to tower in stature above the thick branches. Times are changing and now she is being plucked up by the roots to wither away, as described in the next verse.

The State of Israel is being plucked up and cast down as the east wind blows. “But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried her fruit. Her strong branches were broken and withered; The fire consumed them.” Ezekiel 19:12

Today, we see the State of Israel being plucked up in fury and being cast down to the ground. Since 1948, the Israelis have been involved in 18 wars, Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. Anyone who has ever preached peace for Israel has to know that there is no peace for her. The east wind blows and are drying her fruit. The east wind definitely includes Iran, who is referred to as a state sponsor of terrorism. Iran detests the existence of the State of Israel. Iran’s tentacles reach into the Gaza Strip, Syria, Lebanon, the West Bank etc. and they are definitely coming against Israel with fury to cast her down. Iran is supported by Russia. The east wind can also include China, North Korea, and others.

Israel is slowly being broken and the fires are consuming her branches. The fires of violence and aggression in the Middle East is definitely burning Israel’s branches that once reached to the United States. Around February 20, 2024, the USA declared that it is illegal for the Jewish people to reside in the West Bank, “White House reverses West Bank policy, calling Israeli settlements illegal, Also, US Imposes Sanctions On Israeli Settler Outposts. The United States is supporting international law. Also, the USA has made it clear that they will not stand with Israel against the goal of the global government for peace and stability in the Middle East. The USA insists that Israel must seek peace through a “Two State Solution”.

The branches of Israel, that once reached into the United Nations, are being burned. The International Court of Justice has opened a case of genocide against Israel, World Court to hear Genocide Case Against Israel. The United Nations is not friendly to Israel at all and has numerous laws written against her. The independence of the State of Israel is an obstacle to the United Nations being established as the one world government.

The wrath that is coming against the Israelis is according to the judgment God has measured out for her. When the Jewish people rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, they exalted their own culture over the will of God. Because of that, God gathered them to the land of Israel to give them what their rebellious heart wanted, a Jewish nation, the State of Israel. It is there that God unleashes His wrath on them. “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.” Ezekiel 36:22

The Jewish people are meant to be Christian. If they were Christian, the State of Israel would not exist because as Christians we do not have a nation to call our own on this earth. Our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth, which comes by living for God through Jesus Christ.

In Isaiah 8:11-15, God warned the Jewish people not to think that belief in Jesus Christ was a conspiracy against the Jewish culture. He came to save not to destroy. They were cautioned not to be afraid of the threats of the Pharisees, who made belief in Jesus a literal crime. They feared. The Jewish people were warned that Jesus Christ would be an offense to them, and they would stumble. They were offended and stumbled. They were told that Israel would be broken because of their rejection of Him. They are being broken.

The State of Irael is now planted in a wilderness. “And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty land.” Ezekiel 19:13

The “wilderness” is a huge desert area where very little if anything grows. Spiritually, the desert is a place void of the blossoms of the fruit of Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes to us by believing in Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. The wilderness reminds me of the ministry of John the Baptist being like a voice crying in the wilderness, “‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,” John 1:23 As followers of Jesus Christ, we want to share the gospel of Christ to the Jewish people, but we are like a voice crying in the wilderness.

The Jewish people are in a dry and thirsty land when it comes to the Water of Life. Jesus is the Water of Life. He waters our spirit and soul with His Gospel and with the Holy Spirit. The Water nourishes our spirit and soul to give life to the blossoms of the spirit. The Jewish people are living on a limited supply of nourishment for the spirit and soul. They have discarded the entirety of the Gospel of Christ from the Bible.

Fire of Israel’s military and police aggression is devouring her. “Fire has come out from a rod of her branches and devoured her fruit, so that she has no strong branch—a scepter for ruling.’ This is a lamentation and has become a lamentation.” Ezekiel 19:14

The fire coming out from the branches of Israel and devouring her is military aggression. The State of Israel no longer has a strong branch because of the international community coming against her non-conformity and use of violence. The State of Israel is expected to live peaceably within the Middle East region, lay down her weapons, and conform to the will of the United Nations. The independence of Israel is an obstacle to the United Nations being established as the one world government.

The situation of the State of Israel, and the fire coming from her branches, is a lamentation, a grievance, and a source of sorrow. The Jewish people were supposed to become Christians 2000 years ago, but they rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah. If they were Christians, the Jewish State of Israel would not exist. As Christians, we do not have a nation on this earth to call our own, our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
