Temptations Make War with my Christian Testimony

As soon as people bring up the subject of overwhelming force of feelings that seem to contradict the Christian testimony, I immediately think of the mark of the beast. Some people seem to be suggesting that if a person can’t control their feelings, then the testimony of Jesus Christ doesn’t mean anything. The whole subject of temptations and trying to escape them is exactly how war is made with those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ. The internal government can enflame our feelings and thoughts to manipulate us into feeling guilt for violating the Word of God. My way of escape is at the Cross of Jesus Christ. It is by God’s mercy and grace that I maintain my passion for Jesus Christ. I will never walk harmoniously with the mark of the beast, but I will always find myself with Jesus through all of my weakest moments.

“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

“That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.”
2 Timothy 1:12
