A Suit and Tie or Truth and Justified

Matthew 11

I’m sitting here thinking about the leaders of the international community and national leaders as well. They all wear suits, look well-trimmed, manicured, and I imagine that they wear something that smells nice too. At the same time, there are no global or national leaders that feed their citizens with a religion. If they do, they are not looked at favorably by other international leaders. It doesn’t matter what religion it is; religion is not part of global government. In the east, Israel is noted for their Jewish nationalism and other countries in the region have their Ayatollahs. The east is a troubled, troubled region. Oddly enough, in the USA there is the separation of church and state to ensure that American government will never feed their citizens with religion. We are not going to find Jesus Christ by following national leaders.

People came to John the Baptist to hear about the coming of Jesus Christ. He wore camel’s hair for clothing and ate honey and wild locusts. Jesus asked this question, “…what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings’ palaces. Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. This is the one about whom it is written: “‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’” Matthew 11:9-10 Jesus Is Coming Soon

If we are going to learn about Jesus Christ, it won’t be coming from people wearing fine clothes in positions of authority. They are absorbed into a system based on the internal government, they govern by the mark of the beast, they reject every religion. The Word of God will come through people in the lower ranks of life. The Word of God comes through our humanness who welcome the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The system of human robots does not feed the human spirit with the Spirit of Christ.

“Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me. The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands. Psalm 138:6-8
