Keep watch over our spirit and soul as the house of the Holy Spirit. “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” Matthew 24:42
Only God knows when His Son, Jesus Christ is returning. Until He returns, each person is responsible to watch our own spirit and soul to keep the Holy Spirit present within us by living for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is our guarantee of eternal life, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14 The parable of keeping oil in the lamp teaches us to watch. Matthew 25:1-13.
“But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.” Matthew 24:43
Today, the thief is in this world and is breaking into the house of the soul. The thief is the entity that gives people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors and has an intense dislike for God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The thief wants to desolate the spirit and soul of the presence of the Holy Spirit. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. The global culture has allowed the thief to break into their house and are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we watch to retain our spirit and soul as the house of the Holy Spirit, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 The thief is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin” He sits within us through the entity giving people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Matthew 24:44
Our Lord Jesus will come suddenly and unexpectedly like a flash of lightning. How do we watch and be ready against lightning strikes that come so suddenly and unexpectedly. We know lightning comes in storms, so we stay out of storms, avoid trees, do not fly kites, do not go swimming, do not go fishing, stay inside, etc. Likewise, we prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ by staying out of the stormy weather caused by spiritual corruption and wickedness, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4-5
We are to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ until the day He returns. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?” Matthew 24:45
A faithful and wise servant of Jesus Christ is someone who embraces the Holy Spirit in the soul and spirit. The Holy Spirit’s role is to glorify Jesus Christ, to spread His Gospel, and prepare people for His return. Sharing the testimony of Jesus is providing spiritual food to those in need as the time is ripe, in due season. “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2:9
Jesus Christ says to us as He said to the Apostle Peter, “So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted If you love me feed my sheep.” John 21:15-17
May the Spirit of Christ live richly in us who said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19
“Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.” Matthew 24:46
God rewards the faithful followers of Jesus Christ who continue spreading the message of His return until their last breath or the day of His arrival. The Gospel message in a sentence is, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Part of the abomination of desolation that sits in the Holy place is that the message of the return of Jesus Christ and His Gospel is turned into a baren desert. As Jesus Christ Himself has said, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5
The Light of the World has been taken out of the world, “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:7-8 The “him” in this verse refers to the beast associated with the image and mark of the beast. Those whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will continue to shine with the Spirit of Christ and prepare for His return.
“Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.” Matthew 24:47
We who continue to share the Good News and prepare for the return of Jesus Christ will reign with Him in the new heaven and earth within the New Jerusalem. “Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’” Daniel 7:27
There is eternal Hell for those who betray the compassion, mercy, and grace of God. “But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,” Matthew 24:48-49
Many people claim that Christ’s return is a false promise, since more than 2000 years have passed since He announced it. However, they are mistaken, as the truth is very different. The United Nations (global government of the beast) emphasize the devastating effects of global warming and their global culture conveys the same message in every city across the world. They are not aware that global warming is the Fourth Plague as quoted, “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelation 16:8-9 As time passes, the second coming of Jesus Christ draws nearer.
The traits of psychopathy flourishes in the global culture because they are living without the human conscience and spirit. Instead, they live by the entity giving them what to feel, think, say and do as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. By what they say and do, they are mean-spirited and cruel to everyone who opposes them, and they are beating human beings emotionally, mentally, and physically. The global culture eats and drinks together and are drunk with the blood of all those they oppose. They are drunk with the blood of the followers of Jesus Christ.
The global culture does not believe in the coming of Jesus Christ and they mean-spiritedly exalt their will over the will of us Believers and over the will of God. They are without remorse, guilt, or shame as they mean-spiritedly come against Christians who acknowledge the need for Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin. They cruelly see the Holy Spirit as someone to oppress, exploit, manipulate and kill. The world fills with anti-social activity and lawlessness with no empathy for human beings.
“…the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 24:50-51
The global culture has a form of Godliness but in the end, they are nothing more than hypocrites. They govern and live for the global government of the beast and go about their life without a thought for the return of Jesus Christ. Even so, Jesus will be coming on them suddenly and unexpectedly like a flash of lightening appearing across the sky. Their fate is like the carcasses being eaten by the birds destined for eternal hell where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:9-11
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
