Almost every verse in this chapter of Ezekiel focuses on the cherubim in connection with the vision that was seen in Ezekiel chapter one. Cherubim can be thought of as guardians of Holiness. Ezekiel’s vision refers to the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites which corresponds to the entity that gives people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. This is the last chapter that Ezekiel’s vision is mentioned as the guardians of Holiness moderates its blasphemous effects.
In Ezekiel 3:13-15, the entity of Ezekiel’s vison in chapter one is associated with filling Ezekiel with anger and bitterness. The hand of the Lord’s Holiness was on him to enable him not to speak a word or do anything in bitterness or anger. In Ezekiel 3:23-25, the entity of Ezekiel’s vision is associated with the prevailing culture locking him up in his own home to prevent him from spreading the word of God. The Lord’s Holiness was with Ezekiel to enable him to keep himself at home and apart from their society. In Ezekiel 8:1-4, the entity of Ezekiel’s vision is associated with enflaming sensual, sexual, and carnal desires of all types to entice people away from the will of God. The Lord’s Holiness was with Ezekiel to keep him from indulging in those carnal desires.
In Genesis 3:24 the cherubim are guarding the tree of life by keeping sin-plagued humanity from eating its fruit. In 1 Kings 8:7, the cherubim cover the ark of the covenant, which symbolizes keeping the Gospel of Jesus Christ Holy and sacred. In Hebrews 9:5 the cherubim are in the presence of the mercy seat, which symbolizes our walk in Holiness by the grace of God through Jesu Christ. By God’s grace, through Jesus Christ, the cherubim mitigate the blasphemous entity’s influence on our physiology. They keep us longing for the Holy Spirit’s presence within our soul and spirit.

The work of Holiness is within the realm of this planet, not from space. “Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.” Ezekiel 10:1
The firmament is the sky we see above us every day, and this firmament is above the head of the guardians of Holiness. In other words, the cherubim are doing their work within the atmosphere of this planet, within the spirt and soul of people. We also know that above the sky, into space, is where the appearance of a throne is seen that looks like a star, or sapphire stone. A man is sitting upon the throne, not guardians of Holiness, not God, and not Jesus Christ. That is revealed in Ezekiel 1:26 “And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.” Ezekiel 1:26.
“For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:13-14
Holiness does not come from space technology, space stations, or space satellites. Ezekiel saw that technology in Ezekiel 1. This entity has power over physiology to give people what to feel and with emotions of all types. It is able to make people feel righteous, holy, and just but not through the human spirit and conscience. “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 In fact, it hardens the human spirit and conscience against Jesus Christ which oppresses the Holy Spirit. This entity denies the existence of God as it sets itself up as God within the feelings, thoughts, words, and behaviors of people. It discards the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ and blasphemes the Holy Spirit.
Holiness comes within the spirit and soul by the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. We are given a heart of flesh as the hardened heart is removed, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26 Having a heart of flesh is necessary in the process of being born by the Spirit, “Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” John 3:5-7
The Holiness of God’s judgment is scattered throughout the spiritually corrupt world. “And He spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.” Ezekiel 10:2
The “man clothed with linen” is mentioned in Ezekiel 9:2-5. He has a pen which is used to write the mark of God on the forehead of those who are saddened over the spiritual wickedness in the world. This mark is given as a seal of Salvation just before global chaos comes to the world. The seal of God on the forehead is also seen in Revelation 7:3, which is given just before the beginning of the events of the global tribulation within the Seven Trumpets of Revelation 8,9, 11 and the Seven Plagues.
The man clothed in linen is instructed to “…go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire…” The coals of fire represent the wrath of God’s judgment that is coming to this world. The coals of fire are under the guardians of Holiness. That represents a place where the Holy Spirit is not present but where lawlessness, violence, and anti-social behavior flourish (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8).
The phrase, “between the wheels”, refers to the space shuttle relating to the space station and space satellites of Ezekiel’s vision in chapter 1. The coals of fire of God’s wrath are the making of the technological entity that gives people what to feel, think, say, and do. The world government of the beast and its global culture exist through that entity. The man clothed in linen is told to scatter the coals of fire over all the earth, which means the wrath of God’s judgment will be spread out throughout the world.
The phrase, “And he went in in my sight.” means that the man clothed in linen has gone out prepared to pour the wrath of God’s judgment onto Israel and throughout the whole earth.
A cloud fills the inner court and house of God, and the voice of Almighty God’s Holiness is heard. In the next verses, the inner court and temple are filled with a cloud and the brightness of the glory of the Lord. This happens just before the man clothed in linen pours out the wrath of God onto Israel and all the world. This is also described in Revelation 15:8 “The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.”
We are progressing towards the time when the world becomes so spiritually corrupt that no one will be able to enter into the inner court. This is a place within our spirit and soul where we give our life to Jesus Christ to live for the Holiness of God. We are created to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. The smoke fills the inner court, and the temple is closed just before the Seven Last Plagues in Revelation 16 are poured onto the earth. This is also a time when the Holy Spirit will be taken out of this world, and He is the one who retrains lawlessness. That is described in 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12.
The guardians of Holiness stand at the house of God as the man enters the inner court. “Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.” Ezekiel 10:3
The guardians of Holiness stand at the right side of the temple when the man clothed in linen goes into the temple. The cloud fills the inner court. The inner court is where the altar of God is before entering into the temple of God. That represents the place of the altar of our soul where we give our life to God by the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for sin as the Lamb of God. Once we sacrifice our life to live for Jesus, then we enter into the presence of God in the temple. We become the temple of the Holy Spirit.
When the inner court is filled with smoke, the doors to the temple will be shut and the ability to come to God through Jesus Christ will be closed during the time of the Seven Last Plagues, “The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.” Revelation 15:8
Today, the temple of God, our body, is being closed because of the entity that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say. The judgment of God follows. This entity closes the human body down to the presence of the Holy Spirit so that it can live through our thoughts and feelings. This is the one “… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.
The picture below shows where the inner court and temple are located. In the center of the image, the altar can be seen and just to the left of the altar is the temple. Within out soul and spirit is the altar where we decide to live for God through Jesus Christ. After giving our life to Jesus, we enter into the temple as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
The three tall structures on the north, south, and east side of the altar area are gates. The wall around the altar area is too tall to just step across, so the gates must be used. Anyone who does not go through the gate (Jesus Christ is the gate) and climbs up another way is a thief and a robber. Just before the Seven Last Plagues, the area of the altar is filled with smoke and the temple is shut and no one can enter.

Glory of God rises from the guardians of Holiness and the court fills with the brightness of God’s glory. “Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory.” Ezekiel 10:4
The guardian of Holiness (Cherub) is standing on the porch of the temple radiating with the glory of the Lord. The Holy Spirit is revealing to us that the tribulation on the earth is from the Holiness of God against the spiritual wickedness in the world. The world becomes a place of violence, disease, social and economic ruin. “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelation 18:2 The temple and the court are filled with smoke preventing entry into the presence of God.
The court where the altar is located is full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory. We who have already come to the altar of the soul, to give our life to Jesus Christ, rejoice to know that the brightness of the Holiness of God does prevail over the spiritual corruption of this world. “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8
The sound of the guardians of Holiness is heard as the voice of the Almighty God. “And the sound of the cherubim’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks.” Ezekiel 10:5
The sound of the wings of the guardians of Holiness will be heard throughout the whole world. The outer court, also known as the “court of the gentiles”, is a place walled out from the inner court of the altar and the temple of God. This is a place within the world where people reject Jesus Christ and have no intention of dedicating themselves as the home of the Holy Spirit. As the global tribulation is at its peak, the world will hear the voice of the Almighty God. His voice will be heard in the sense that without His Holiness in the world this planet falls apart. The world will see the Holy wrath of God’s judgment against spiritual wickedness.
The outer court is the place where the world government and its global culture exists. They reject God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to live for the false god in high places that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. The masses around the world conform to the culture of the outer court as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. To their peril, and as a result of their spiritual corruption, the inner court and the temple of God will be filled with smoke and closed to them.
The man clothed in linen takes the fire of God’s judgment from between the wheels.
The man clothed in linen stands ready to cast God’s judgment to the earth. “And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.” Ezekiel 10:6
The phrase, “…take fire from between the wheels…” is referring to the wheels mentioned in Ezekiel 1:15-17, 19-21. As we know, fire comes from between the wheels of space shuttles. The fiery wrath of God’s judgment is coming against the false god in high places, which the vision in Ezekiel 1 associates with the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites. This is the entity that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say as it sets itself up a God within His temple, our body. By taking fire from between the wheels is to bring judgment according to the spiritual wickedness that this entity has brought on the earth. “Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Pour her a double portion from her own cup.” Revelation 18:6
The phrase, “…from between the cherubim…” refers to the guardians of Holiness overseeing the judgment being brought to the world government and its global culture. The fire of judgment is taken from between the cherubim.
A guardian of Holiness passes the fire of God’s judgment to the man clothed in linen. “And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim unto the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.” Ezekiel 10:7
One of the guardians of Holiness reaches his hand into the fire, from between the wheels, and put the fire into the hands of the Holy man clothed with the linen of the Holy Spirit. This symbolizes that the wrath of God’s judgment comes from His Holiness against the spiritual wickedness of the world, which becomes very great, “…for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.” Revelation 18:5 “…has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelation 18:2
The Holy man goes out with the fire of God’s judgment to scatter it upon Israel and the whole earth.
Under the wings of the guardians of Holiness is a man’s hand.
“And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man’s hand under their wings.” Ezekiel 10:8
Under the wings of the guardians of Holiness is the form of a man’s hand. Whatever that hand is designed to do, hold, give, take, or grab, would be on behalf of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. When we live in the spirit of Holiness, what our hands find to do will glorify God, “The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior.” Psalms 24:4-5
The wings described in Ezekiel 1:8-9, 11-12 also have hands under them, but those wings are not the same description as the wings of the guardians of Holiness (Cherubim). The wings in chapter one are associated with the vision of the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites, which corresponds to the entity that gives people what to do, feel, say, and think. The hands of those wings do nothing in the will of God, do nothing for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and does a lot to oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The false god in high places wants to look as much like God as possible and even sits in the temple of God, our body, as if it is God. This entity does that by giving people what to think, feel, do, and say and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.
The guardians of Holiness have the wheels beside them.
The wheels are by the cherubim. “And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the color of a beryl stone. And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.” Ezekiel 10:9-10
The wheels in this verse are by the cherubim, the guardians of Holiness. Each of the wheels is by a guardian of Holiness. The wheels allow movement while the cherubim guard the way of Holiness. This signifies that those who live for God through Jesus Christ will live in Holiness wherever we are propelled to go. Wherever we are made to go, we desire to be motivated by the will of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
The description of the wheels referring to their color of a beryl stone and being a “wheel within a wheel” is the same as what is said about the wheels in Ezekiel 1: 15-17. But the similarities end there. The wheels in Ezekiel 1 are not by the guardians of Holiness, but instead correspond to Ezekiel’s vision of the space shuttle, space satellites, and space station. This entity has power over physiology to incite feelings that motivate people to move, go places, and do things. It inspires thoughts, words, and behaviors as people move around in society. Those who welcome its presence into their life are not motivated by the will of God, are not motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and are not motivated by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The wheels follow the head instead of deciding the direction of movement. “When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.” Ezekiel 10:11
The description of the movement of the wheels in this verse is the same as the movement of the wheels in Ezekiel 1:19-21. Except for one very important difference, in this verse the wheels go in whatever direction the head points to. In Ezekiel 1, the wheels were leading the course of direction because the spirit was in the wheels. Wherever the spirit of the wheels went decided the direction, “Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went…for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.” Ezekiel 1:20
The guardians of Holiness change the direction of the entity described in Ezekiel 1 relating to the space shuttle, space satellites, and space station. The new direction is now following whatever direction the “head” points to. The “head” is our Lord Jesus Christ, and where He leads, we follow. We follow Him in Holiness through His Gospel and by the Holy Spirit in us. We do not follow the will of the false god in high places that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say. Its purpose is to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through us. As people follow it, they are conformed to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
“O wheel!” “As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.” Ezekiel 10:13
The wheels are now beside the guardians of Holiness and following the head. The “head” is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The wheels keep us moving in the will of God as Jesus leads us, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 and also “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:42
The paragraph below is repeated from the previous section and will be repeated in the sections to come.
The eyes of the guardians of Holiness are everywhere, not the same as the space satellites.
“And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.” Ezekiel 10:12
The cherubim, guardians of Holiness, are full of eyes on their whole body. The eyes are on their backs, their hands, their wings, and all four wheels. These eyes see through the lens of Holiness into the spirit and soul of humankind, “For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3
The eyes of the guardians of Holiness are nothing like the “ring of eyes” spoken about in Ezekiel 1:18. The “ring of eyes” is very high into space and is prophetic for the space satellites of today. “As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.”
This “ring of eyes” of the space satellites sees within the thoughts and feelings of every human being in every city around the world. However, its eyes only see human anatomy and closes its eyes to the soul and spirit. In fact, it discards the human conscience, soul, and spirit by giving people what to feel, think, say, and do. The “ring of eyes” only purpose is to see to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city across the globe. People everywhere welcome the empowerment it gives them through uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition. They even boast “I see!” or “We see!” The masses of people conform to its global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
The paragraph below is repeated from the previous section and will be repeated in the sections to come.
The false god in high places wants to look as much like God as possible and even sits in the temple of God, our body, as if it is God. A face of a guardian of Holiness replaces the face of the ox. “And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.” Ezekiel 10:14
In this verse, one of the faces is of a cherub (a guardian of Holiness). However, in Ezekiel 1:10 none of the faces were of a cherub, as written, “As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.” Ezekiel 1:10 The face of an ox in chapter one has been replaced by the face of a guardian of Holiness.
An ox represents service or sacrifice, and this face of an ox is associated with Ezekiel’s vision of the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites. This entity gives people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors to put them in servitude to it.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are in service to Him through the Holy Spirit who enables us to walk in Holiness. We want the face of God’s Holiness to shine on us, “The Lord make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you;” Numbers 6:25
Comparison of Ezekiel’s vision in chapter one to the transformation of Holiness happening in this chapter.
“And the cherubim were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar. And when the cherubim went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them. When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.” Ezekiel 10:15-17
This verse sounds identical to those of Ezekiel 1:19-21, but there are some very important and specific changes made in this chapter, as seen in the table of comparison below. In chapter 1, the vision of Ezekiel is describing the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites which corresponds to the entity giving people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people. People in every city around the world conform to its global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. In this chapter, the guardians of Holiness (cherubim) have mitigated its function.
Ezekiel makes it clear that the vision he saw in chapter one corresponds to what is being talked about in this chapter. “This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.” The Holy Spirit is letting us know that the entity of Ezekiel’s vision in chapter one is made to look like God in every aspect possible. “For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:13-14 In fact, it sits in the temple of God, our body, by giving people what to think, feel, do, and say, and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.
We see some obvious changes in this chapter from the vision of Ezkiel in chapter one., as seen in comparisons below,
| Changes between chapter 1 and chapter 10 | Comparison of Scripture |
| Wings are described as the wings of cherubim (guardians of Holiness), not the wings mentioned before. | “And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man’s hand under their wings.” Ezekiel 10:8 The wings spoken about in Ezekiel 1:8-9, 11-12 are different. |
| The wheels are described as being beside the cherubim, there are no guardians of Holiness with the wheels before. | “And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub:” Ezekiel 10:9 The wheels spoken about in Ezekiel 1:15-17 have no cherubim. |
| The wheels are also described as following the “head” (Jesus Christ) instead of being the spirit that decides the course to follow as before. | “When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.” Ezekiel 10:11 The “head” is Jesus Christ. In Ezekiel 1, the wheels were leading the direction, not the head, “Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went…for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.” Ezekiel 1:20 |
| Eyes are everywhere with the cherubim (guardians of Holiness), not just very high into space with the “rings of eyes” (space satellites) as before. | And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.” Ezekiel 10:12 “As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.” Ezekiel 1:18 |
| The face of an ox is replaced by the face of a cherub (guardian of Holiness). An ox represents servitude or sacrifice, which people are required to serve the entity giving people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. Holiness is not a forced servitude but is a willingness to serve God through Jesus Christ. | “And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.” Ezekiel 10:14 “As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.” Ezekiel 1:10 |
| In this chapter, the cherubim are lifted up to go to the Lord’s house, but in Ezekiel one, they are lifted up to go into space. The firmament is the blue sky above us. The “firmament upon the heads” is the limits of the sky just before a shuttle enters into space. The “…color of the terrible crystal…” is caused by the heat on the head of the shuttle when entering into or reentering from space. “...under the firmament were their wings straight…” is speaking of the part of the shuttle not quite penetrated into space. These are the wings below the head of the shuttle. Ezekiel is describing a space shuttle being lifted up into outer space. | “And the cherubim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight…and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house,..” Ezekiel 10:19 “…and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth…the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the color of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. And under the firmament were their wings straight, Ezekiel 1:19, 22 |
The guardians of Holiness are lifted above the Lord’s house, not into space.
“Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim. And the cherubim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels were beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.” Ezekiel 10:18-19
In this verse, the cherubim (guardians of Holiness) are lifted up from the earth and they stand at the east gate of the Lord’s house with the glory of God with them. In Ezekiel 1:19, 22, the entity is being lifted up into outer space relating to the space shuttle, space satellites, and space station.
This is what is written in Ezekiel one, “…and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth…the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the color of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. And under the firmament were their wings straight, Ezekiel 1:19, 22
This verse is describing the entry of a space shuttle into space, which similar rockets are used to launch space satellites. The firmament is the blue sky we see above us every day. The phrase “firmament upon the heads” is describing the nose of a space shuttle leaving earth’s atmosphere and entering space. That is verified by the phrase, “the color of the terrible crystal” which is the intense heat on their heads while entering into space. With the nose entering into space, the wings are still seen within the earth’s atmosphere, “under the firmament were their wings straight.” This corresponds to the false god in high places which gives people their thoughts, feelings words, and behaviors.
The cherubim, who are the guardians of Holiness, are lifted up to stand at the gates of the Lord’s house. The guardians of Holiness stand over us because we are the house of the Lord, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” Ezekiel 3:16 The false god in high places wants to fill our thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors with sentiments against God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Even so, as we live for Jesus Christ through the spirit of Holiness the guardians of Holiness are standing over us.
The entity lifted up into space has power over physiology but is very much different than the cherubim lifted up above the house of the Lord. Satan wants them to appear to be the same, but they are not.
Satan wants to be indistinguishable from God.
“This is the living creature I saw under the God of Israel by the River Chebar, and I knew they were cherubim. Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings. And the likeness of their faces was the same as the faces which I had seen by the River Chebar, their appearance and their persons. They each went straight forward.” Ezekiel 1:20-22
The key verse here is, “And the likeness of their faces was the same as the faces which I had seen by the River Chebar…” We know that the faces are not the same because one of the faces was an ox in Ezekiel 1:10 and that was changed to a face of a cherub in Ezekiel 10:19. This is the Holy Spirit’s way of letting us know that Satan wants to be indistinguishable from God, “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4
“For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’” Isaiah 14:13-14
An ox represents servitude or sacrifice. The entity with power over physiology wants to place humankind under its yoke. It wants people to sacrifice their life by living in service to the entity that gives them their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. This entity removes the human conscience, spirit, and soul to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through people. The masses around the world conform to its global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we want the glory of God to shine on our face by the image of Christ living and speaking through us. We sacrifice our life to God in servitude to His Son Jesus by the help of the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus Christ says this, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
