A list of the Seven Churches is in the second paragraph.
- The condition of today’s churches prompts a response from God.
- There is an executive meeting with God and the twenty-four elders.
- The mockery of God is seen, and the Holy Creatures will bring His judgment.
- The four beasts of Daniel 7 contribute to the global tribulation.
- Praise for God comes from the Holiness of our soul.
The condition of today’s churches prompts a response from God. “After these things…” Revelation 4:1a. refers to the state of the churches which were revealed in chapters two and three. A short summary is that there are only some faithful few believers, and they are suffering severe hardships. The description of the churches describes the churches of today; They no longer present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and those faithful to the teachings of the Bible are not welcomed within their congregation. The churches have become corrupt by partnering with the community agenda and are carnally seducing congregants away from Jesus.
The congregation of the churches is being taught to live by the “deep secrets of Satan,” which involves the thing that has power to form what they think, do, feel, and speak which enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. By what they say and do, they are conformed to their place in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. Those churches are lively, bustling with activity, and financially wealthy but they are dead to Jesus Christ. Below are the links to the posts about the seven churches.
Phase One…..Gospel of Jesus Christ is Abandoned.
Phase Two….Those Faithful to Christ are Slandered and Persecuted.
Phase Three…Corruption sets In.
Phase Four…..Learning to Live By the “Deep Secrets”.
Phase Five…..Lively but Dead to Jesus Christ.
Phase Six……Those Faithful to Jesus Christ have Little Strength.
Phase Seven………Wealthy but Wretched.
There is an executive meeting with God and the twenty-four elders. “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1 After the churches reach the condition that they are in as described above, which precisely describes the churches of today, the thing that takes place next is the opening of the Seven Seals (Revelation 6 and Revelation 8). God takes notice when the churches are making a mockery of His name and discard Jesus Christ from their midst. That report goes directly to the throne of God, as John saw when he was in the Spirit, “Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.” Revelation 4:2
There is a rainbow around the throne, and it represents good news for the faithful few followers of Jesus Christ who will receive eternal life when the tribulation is over. “And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.” Revelation 4:3
Around the throne of God are the twenty-four elders, who are the twelve Apostles and one representative each from the twelve tribes of Israel, “Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.” Revelation 4:4 They represent the Old and New Testament and every fulfillment of prophecy relating to the coming of Jesus as the Lamb of God. This is the highest level of meeting possible, and they meet to discuss the deterioration of the churches. God, the president of the organization, is not happy, “And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices.” Revelation 4:5a
“Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” Revelations 5b. The lamps of fire are the seven Spirits of God, which means God is on all seven continents of this world and the lamps of fire are there too. God sees what is happening to His people and is fixing to start the fires of His judgment. When the Bible was written, the people of that day had not even heard of a continent, and certainly not seven. The only continent they were aware of is the earth they were walking on. The Holy Spirit speaks to us in symbolisms so that when the time comes the meaning will be revealed to us. Today, we know there are seven continents and that is the global territory. The lamps of fire refer to the judgment of God coming to every continent around the world because of what has happened to the churches, His people, and Jesus Christ.
The mockery of God is seen, and the Holy creatures will bring His judgment. “Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal.” Revelation 4:6a. God sees everything that is happening from His throne because He looks right through the crystal-clear glass, nothing is hidden from His sight. On top of having the sea of glass, there are Heavenly creatures all around the throne who are full of eyes in front and back. “And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.” Revelation 4:6b. Everything that is to be seen is seen relating to the blaspheme against God, the discarding of the Lamb of God, and the trampling of the Holy Spirit. The suffering of His people is seen and so are the Christless churches of today.
The creatures full of eyes are described, “The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.” Revelation 4:7 These creatures live in the Holiness of God, and they detest the mockery made of the name of God. The Holy lion will bring the ferociousness within the judgments of God. The Holy calf will bring the sacrificial dedication to Jesus Christ within the persecution. The Holy man will reject the thing that automates and dehumanizes the process of thoughts, feelings, and emotions, which happens through the thing which forms what people think, do, feel, and speak. The Holy eagle will prey on those who live and govern for the government of the beast.
The four beasts of Daniel 7 contribute to the global tribulation. During the same time that the Holy creatures of Heaven are bringing God’s judgement, there are four beasts working on behalf of the government of the beast. The Christless beasts are described in Daniel seven. None of those beasts have wings, except the leopard, they are earthbound and worldly. All of the Holy creatures have six wings each because they are Hevenly and focused on the things of God.
The beasts in Daniel are the lion, bear, leopard, and the one with iron teeth. The lion brings ferocious aggression towards God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the people of God. The bear is ferocious in tearing apart any connection made between Believers, or connections made with Jesus Christ, or connection to the Holy Spirit. For example, in today’s society, marriage is anything except for bonds made through Jesus Christ. The leopard with two wings works in administration and government to operate the system of the beast. Its purpose is to ensure the masses at the grass roots level conform to the thing which forms thoughts, feelings, speech, and behavior. And the beast with ferocious iron teeth are the masses around the world with a hardened human spirit against the Spirit of Christ. They are basically a human robot under the control of the thing which has power over physiology. No longer are people living by the Spirit but are under the control of something not spiritual at all and it is artificial.
All of the beasts from Daniel 7 contributes to the global tribulation and are responsible for making a shambles of the seven churches. The judgments unleashed from the Seven Seals devastates the government of the beast along with its four bests.
Praise for God comes from the Holiness of our soul. “The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” Revelation 4:8 As followers of Jesus Christ, we should always be praising the Holiness of God and be looking forward to when He comes back. Holiness breaks the bond with the thing which forms what we think, feel, do, and speak.
“Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying…” Revelation 4:9-10 Like the Twelve Apostles, and each leader of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, we bow before God in our humanness, willing to give ourselves sacrificially for the name of Christ, to be fearless in His Spirit, and to be vigilant against corruption to the temple God (our body as the home of the Holy Spirit).
The praise flowing from our soul for God proclaims, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” Revelation 4:11
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
