Holy Spirit Guidance Within Adversity

God hears our cry for help through His Son Jesus Christ. This world is full of antagonisms that easily get on our nerves. It causes a lot of strife, seeds of hatred, tendencies towards violence, betrayals, and fatal endings. Why are people so quick to attack our joy, happiness, and optimism when we live for the Spirit of Goodness? In today’s world of global change, tears are flowing like the waterfalls of the Niagara. We see the disappearance of components relating to what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross, and we see the increasing opposition to the nation of Israel. Isaiah, through the Holy Spirit, says this; “”People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.” “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

We will have teachers during times of adversity, heartache, and grief. This is all part of God’s plan of redemption through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ gave His life on the Cross for the remission of sin, He was buried in a tomb, He rose again the third day, and ascended into Heaven. Even through the Great Tribulation, people will hear of what Jesus Christ has done for us. We will hear of how our sin is crucified with Christ, that sin is buried in a grave with Christ, that our spirit is resurrected by the Holy Spirit of God, and we will have a Home in the New Heaven and New Earth. For those of us who follow the way of the Cross of Jesus Christ, we need to let our light shine through the Light of Jesus Christ, and to make the Word of God known to all. Isaiah says; “Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.” “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

The voice of the Holy Spirit guides us. The Holy Spirit tells us; “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” We know the voice of the holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit’s work is to lead people to the remission of sin and the infilling of God’s Spirit through Jesus Christ. With the Holy Spirit, it is all about the love of God, spiritual peace, God’s faithfulness, and perseverance in bringing salvation to all the world. It’s all about the voice of God’s kindness, gentleness, goodness, and patience. The voice of the Holy Spirit is full of God’s goodwill, meekness, joyfulness, and self-control. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-10

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” Romans 10:10-11
