God, through His Son Jesus Christ, is strength to those who turn the battle towards the gate. The gate is the place within our soul that opens up to the Spirit of Jesus Christ. When that gate opens, there flows fountains of Living Water, like a flow of milk and honey, and like oil. A battle rages at the gate where that substance flows, as if the modern god of knowledge is allergic and weakened by that fluid substance. The Living Water, the Oil, and the Milk and Honey, all refer to the substance of the Holy Spirit within our inner most being. Within those soft and moist qualities exist God’s love, kindness, goodwill, peace, meekness, gentleness, joy, faith, goodness, perseverance, self-control, and patience. When we accept what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross for the remission of sin, then the gates open to fill our soul and spirit with Living Water. “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.”
“So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:7-10
The Spirit of Jesus Christ fills us with the beauty of Holiness. In the day that Jesus Christ opened the flood gates so that all may come in, we are offered a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty. As well, in the day that Jesus Christ comes again, we will be wearing our new glorified body, in all the beauty of the radiance of God’s Spirit through His Son Jesus Christ. The New Heaven and New Earth will be a wonderful place filled with glory and grace.
To God Be The Glory
“To God be the glory! Great things He hath done!
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son;
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.”
“In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.” Isaiah 28:5-6
