What Christ Jesus did for us on the Cross makes all the difference between what Israel will suffer in the Great Tribulation under the rule of the anti-Christ, and the Rapture we will experience as Children born at the Cross of Christ. Today’s scripture makes it crystal clear that Israel and the anti-Christ never will have a true partnership. The anti-Christ brutally breaks their peace treaty! While the anti-Christ will be utterly destroyed, the True and Living God continues to provide refuge for Israel, even during very hostile times. An underground network will exist within the wilderness of the Great Tribulation. In this scripture today, Moab secretly provides refuge to Israel, betraying the will of the system of the anti-Christ (Moab is modern day Jordan and part of one of the ten kingdoms called the Arabian Federated Republics as dictated by the New World Order). This mirrors what is given to us in the Book of Revelation that says, “And to the woman (Israel) were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” Israel is forced to hide underground within the wilderness of the Great Tribulation.
Often, when we send a gift to somebody it is to gesture our goodwill towards them, or to signal our peaceful intentions, and is definitely to extend a form of unity. When God sent the gift of His Son Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, to die on the Cross, it was to reconcile our spirit to the Spirit of God so that we can have peace with God. All we have to do is believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. While Christ Jesus said like sheep we have all gone astray, in today’s scripture it says something very similar; “For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.” If you can envision being troubled over the loud sounds of domestic violence at your next door neighbor’s house, then envision Moab (Jordan) being troubled over the persecution of Israel by the anti-Christ. It would be a relief for a neighbor or a neighboring country to send a gift of peaceful intentions. This would be a gift extending refuge in an underground shelter sponsored by those resisting the anti-Christ. This would definitely be a gift of unity, sent by the hand of God, to nourish Israel within the wilderness of the Great tribulation.
“Send you the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.” This is like sending a message to Jerusalem that must pass through the underground wilderness first. During the Great Tribulation, under the anti-Christ, Israel will be forced to go into the wilderness underground into hiding, and having no where to run and no where to hide! Except for God’s mercy and lovingkindness to them during this very, very, difficult time of persecution. The persecution of the Hebrew Land shakes their neighbors in Jordan (Moab), especially after the peace treaty was brutally ignored! “For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab (Jordan) shall be at the fords of Arnon.” Interestingly enough, Israel is called the Hebrew Land by the New World Order’s grouping of the ten kingdoms, and Moab is part of Jordan or the Arabian Federated Republics. The shaken and stirred Jordan will befriend Israel during the Great Tribulation to provide underground protection within the wilderness of resistance during the Great Tribulation. There will be many betrayals of this type against the anti-Christ that will lead to the Battle of Armageddon. A remnant of Israel will come to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior during this time.
In the very bright light, under the modern god of knowledge and information, we might wonder how it would be possible to hide anywhere! At the Cross of Christ we are comforted to know that God hides us under His wings to provide comfort through the Holy Spirit. We count it all joy to share in the fellowship of Christ Jesus’s suffering, to be conformable to His death, and be confident in the knowledge of God’s Resurrection power! We have a Friend in Jesus Christ during times of great difficulty and tribulation. Israel finds a different type of friend during their time of extreme persecution by the anti-Christ. Yet, that friend is still according to God’s loving-kindness to Israel. God speaks His immutable Word to Jordan (Moab), “…hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wanders. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a cover to them from the face of the spoiler:” The spoiler is the anti-Christ. A territory within the kingdom of the Arabian Federated Republics, Jordan, takes Israel (the Hebrew Land) underground into their protection and away from the scourge of the anti-Christ. Israel is an outcast within the ten kingdoms of the New World Order, but they will have a very capable friend who will hide them, “make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts;” In the broad light of the modern god of knowledge and information, Israel will be hidden through the underground resistance! The environment of betrayal and underground resistance will be ripe for the terrible Battle of Armageddon.
“And to the woman (Israel) were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”
The anti-Christ will be overthrown and thoroughly defeated by Christ Jesus. There are so many betrayals against the antichrist that it becomes easy to understand that if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? Which makes it easy to understand why the extortioner (the anti-Christ) comes to his end, and why the spoiler (the anti-Christ) ceases, and why the oppressors (those living by 666) are purged from the land. When we receive what Christ Jesus did for us on the Cross, our sin becomes dormant, inactive, and has no rule over us. That means the anti-Christ is defeated because he is not able to extort, spoil, nor oppress the Spirit of Christ that lives in us. We have the victory over the ways of this world, the flesh, and the anti-Christ right now; but the remnant of Israel will have that victory at the appearing of the coming of Jesus Christ! The remnant of Israel will be purified and come to accept Christ Jesus as their Savior within the Great Tribulation as well! Many, many, many will continue to accept what Christ Jesus did for them on the Cross, even under the tortuous rule of the anti-Christ. There will be very strong underground resistance to the system of the anti-Christ.When Christ Jesus returns, in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.”
Friendship is very important within God’s plan of Redemption for mankind. Christ Jesus befriended prostitutes, tax collectors, Pharisees, and a wide variety of unsavory characters. Jesus Christ did not have sex with a prostitute, He did not steal money by collecting taxes, He did not demand allegiance to the polluted Law of the Pharisees, but He did bring Grace, Mercy, Love, and the remission of sin. It is one thing to be friends with the world, the flesh, and the temptations of the anti-Christ and quite another to show compassion for those whose spirit and soul are redeemable to the Spirit of God. Even the prostitute who hid the spies relating to God’s plan of Redemption was considered a righteous person for that action. We live in the day where the spirit of the anti-Christ is intensifying from day to day…people need a friend. People need a friend who knows the Lord Jesus Christ and what He has done for the whosoever at the Cross. Will you be that friend, a friend who can share God’s plan of redemption, a friend who can share that Message even in the face of hostility? Let us not be part of the kingdom of this world, a world that is snowballing in the direction of the system of the anti-Christ, but let us show people the way into Citizenship within the Kingdom of God.
No one is perfect, which is to say that we are all flawed by sin. God honors that humble attitude. We all know someone whose life has been changed because of what Christ Jesus did on the Cross to remit sin. I am one. God honors that belief. Confessing that we are flawed with sin, and believing in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross will reconcile us to God. That simple! Believe in the heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
“Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion. For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon. Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wanders. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceases, the oppressors are consumed out of the land. And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.” Isaiah 16:1-5
