On about the same day, I read two headlines; the first one read, “TEL AVIV – An Israeli kindergarten near the border with Gaza was evacuated Thursday morning after a bomb launched by terrorists from the Gaza Strip was found in the playground, officials said.” The second headline read, “Attack on Christians in Egypt kills 7” In the New World Order, things relating to the Living God, or the Message of the Cross, is being attacked. There is only one religion that the NWO will recognize, and it will be based on conformity to the anti-Christ. Israel is a non-conformist to the ten kingdoms of the New World Order and is always under heavy attack. Egypt makes up a whole kingdom within the New World Order, but Christians are terrorized in that kingdom! Already, there is severe persecution against the Children of God, and it will become global before the anti-Christ shows himself and declares himself to be the ten kingdom ruler. HOWBEIT, we are encouraged by the Holy Spirit, “O my people that dwells in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he will smite you with a rod, and will lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt.”
As the anti-Christ rises within efforts of eliminating opposition from the Living God, the Cross of Christ, and the Holy Spirit, we will have to learn to say, “I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengths me.” When the persecution of the Children of God enflames in the United States, we will definitely need to abide in Christ who strengthens us. As we see the the fiery furnace of the Great Tribulation beginning to ignite, we know that the Spirit of Christ who lives in us is greater than the evil one who is of this world. We need to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. The New World Order will consider our allegiance to Christ Jesus and the Living God as rebellion and persecute dissenters. BUT, the Living God will write our name in the Book of life, Rapture us Home into the Kingdom of God, and will bring us with Him when He returns to reign on Earth. Jesus Christ is coming soon!
The Book of Daniel says that Christ Jesus, the Rock, will smite the ten kingdoms of the world and they will be utterly destroyed. In today’s scripture text, that same promise is echoed, “the Lord of hosts will stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so will he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.” As we know, the best of the best of the Egyptian armies were slaughtered at the Red Sea, and here we read of another slaughter at Midian. I might also add that at the rock of Oreb was a major beheading. When I think of a beheading, I think of the modern god of knowledge being “beheaded” when Christ returns to establish His Eternal Kingdom. The god of knowledge in this technological age is global and causes people to abandon the spirit and soul in favor of emotions and enlightenment. A scourge is coming as sure as the Great Tribulation is coming, but the Living God will have the ultimate victory according to what Christ Jesus did for us on the Cross! A remnant of Israel will be purified within the fiery furnace of the Great Tribulation and they will be among the Twelve Tribes forming the gates leading into the New Jerusalem. The Twelve Jewish Apostles will form the foundation of that Great City, the New Jerusalem. The 24 Elders bow down to worship Christ Jesus!
We have to learn to be abased, and to abound: every where and in all things we need to learn to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. We can do all things through Christ which strengths us. Satan and the anti-Christ can only use us according to the sin that is alive in us. When it is said that Christ Jesus defeated Satan at the Cross of Christ, it includes putting sin into an inactive and dormant state which makes it to do nothing in what we do and say. The anti-Christ, with the godless miracle of the delivering of knowledge, cannot use us when the Spirit of Christ lives in what we say and do! Greater is Christ Jesus who is in us than the evil one who is of this world. The formation of the ten kingdoms of this world is not including Christ Jesus as their chief cornerstone, and eliminates any construction process that opposes the New World Order! As Christ abides in us, we are set apart from the kingdom (ten kingdoms) of this world. Our home is not of this world, but our Home is in the Kingdom of God! “And it will come to pass in that day, that his (the anti-Christ) burden will be taken away from off your shoulder, and his (the anti-Christ) yoke from off your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.”
No one is perfect, which is to say that we are all flawed by sin. God honors that humble attitude. We all know someone whose life has been changed because of what Christ did on the Cross to remit sin. I am one. God honors that belief. Confessing that we are flawed with sin, and believing in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross will reconcile us to God. That simple! Believe in the heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
“Therefore says the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwells in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he will smite you with a rod, and will lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt. For yet a very little while, and the indignation will cease, and mine anger in their destruction. And the Lord of hosts will stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so will he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. And it will come to pass in that day, that his burden will be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.”
