The scriptural verses at the bottom of this post is an excellent example of Satan’s character to steal, kill, and destroy. The occupants of the kingdom of this world are susceptible as Satan’s victims when we live according to the desires of the flesh. Once again, it is apparent how the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life are Satan’s fuel to kill, steal, and destroy on this earth. Sweet smells are turned to stink, instead of well made compression underwear there are tears, instead of well set hair there is baldness, instead of well-fitting clothing a burlap cloth, and burning instead of beauty.
The above things are to make the body look much better than what it actually is, which is very typical of this world to want to appear better than what we actually are. It describes the apostate condition of the Body of Christ in this world today! Howbeit, Christ is the door: by Him if any man enter in, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture. However, outward appearances are like a military whose men are wearing tight fitting compression underwear to make them look in top physical shape outwardly. And the women appear to have that perfect body until their compression underwear begins to rip! Isaiah, through the Holy ghost, did a really great job at describing the sin sickness of the nation. As is obvious, outward appearances do nothing for us when we have to stand in the face of real confrontations! As is stated, their men will fall by the sword, and the mighty will fall in the war. Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy the gates leading into the Kingdom of God, and as is written, her gates will lament and mourn, and being desolate will sit on the ground. Christ is the only door: by Him if any man enter in, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture.
We live in an age of astounding knowledge and information that comes through the modern god of this technological age. However, there is no communication of knowledge regarding the Living God, what Christ did for us on the Cross, nor of the infilling of the Holy Ghost. It is intentionally omitted as the modern god desires to sit in the Temple of God, our body, as God. This is an example of the destruction of the gates leading into the Kingdom of God, causing people much torment and anguish in their desire to enter in. This also describes the age of the anti-Christ which is in this world today! BUT, Christ is the only door: by Him if any man enter in, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture.
The Great Tribulation inches nearer and nearer as the gates into the Holy Place are becoming a place of lamentation and mourning. By this we know that Jesus is coming soon! As Children of God, we can no longer use outward appearances, self-righteousness, Church attendance, good works, etc. to make the Body of Christ look appropriate. Our faith must be wholly in the Cross of Christ for the remission of sin, to welcome the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, and to maintain an open spirit to fellowship with the Spirit of God. If our faith is in anything other than the Cross of Christ, then the anti-Christ will be sure to be successful in Satan’s quest to steal, kill, and destroy all things of the living God, including His Children. Without the Cross of Christ as the object faith, the Children of God will fall and those once thought of as being mighty men of God will fall. Christ is the door: by Him if any man enter in, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture.
Knowledge that excludes the Living God only serves to build a wall to the spirit and soul. By the spirit and soul we have fellowship with the Spirit of God to infill our soul with the Spirit of Christ. The anti-Christ makes war with what Christ has done for us on the Cross through the modern god of this technological age. It is through the Spirit that we serve God, whose Son Jesus Christ came to enliven our spirit to restore fellowship with the Spirit of God. The object of our faith must be on the Cross of Christ, and that only defeats Satan, the flesh, the world, and the anti-Christ. The gates into the Kingdom of God is Christ, Christ is the door: by Him if any man enter in, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture.
Believe in the heart and confess with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. When we accept what Christ did for us on the Cross, our sin is in remission, it becomes dormant, it is inactive, and it is rendered to do nothing through knowledge, information, words, behaviors, attitudes, etc. In these days, where the spirit of the anti-Christ becomes more notable, we must keep the object of our faith in the Cross of Jesus Christ! Christ is the door: by Him if any man enter in, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture. Desire the Spirit of Christ over the knowledge and information that flows from the technological god of this modern age. Christ abiding in us will separate us from the kingdom of this world to set us apart as citizens in the Kingdom of God. This means a separation from knowledge and information that refuses to acknowledge the Living God, the Message of the Cross of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
“And it will come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.” Isaiah 3:24-26 KJV
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9 King James Version (KJV)
