We are the brought up Children of God! “The Ox Knows It’s Owner, and the Ass It’s Master’s Crib.” We have an owner that sets us free from sin and we should know our place in the Master’s Kingdom. Giving our soul, spirit, and body over to another owner is to be separated from God and held bondage to sin according to the limitations of the flesh. Not knowing our place within the Kingdom of God is to be held earthbound in the degeneration and death of this wilderness we call Earth. “Don’t you know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” We are the Master’s children and God is the rightful owner of our soul, spirit, and body! We are the brought up Children of God!
Rebellion against God really, really does pollute the soul, spirit, and actions of the body! All we have to do is look around at this world to see the hatred for the Living God who is the Owner and Master of the House within. That hatred stems from making the modern god of this technological world the owner and master of our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. We have skewed off course to the point of not even considering that our soul and spirit is made to join in fellowship with the Spirit of the Living God. Sin destroys the beauty of the spirit, sin shuts up the door of the soul against God, and sin abuses the body. Satan, the author of sin, has been defeated at the Cross of Christ to put sin into remission, to make it dormant, to render it inactive, and commanding that it do nothing! We are the Master’s children and God is the rightful owner of our soul, spirit, and body! We are the brought up Children of God!
The Owner and Master of His children’s heart and mind is the Living God! “Don’t you know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? God has made it possible to reconcile our spirit and soul to His Spirit by accepting what His Son Jesus Christ has done for us on the Cross. By the Blood of Christ shed on the Cross, the sin of rebellion against the Living God is washed away! We are brought back to our senses to consider that we are the brought up Children of God. Even the ox knows its owner, and the ass its master’s crib. We will rejoice with sounds of hallelujah when the Owner and Master of the House reclaims residence within us. Through the Message of the Cross, we are set apart from the rebels whose soul and spirit are chained to the sin of this world. We are set apart as residents of the Kingdom of God whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of life! Hallelujah!
“The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.” Isaiah 1:1-3
