A Stumbling Block to the Builders

God did not call it the tree of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil! Eve was advised that it was a tree of death! She was advised that to even touch the tree would bring death. Satan is the one who referred to that tree of death as being one that bears the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil to bring wisdom and equality with God! She disobeyed the warning, shared the fruit with Adam, and both died to God. The stumbling block for us today still originates from that disobedience to God. We cannot believe that death occurs in our soul and spirit when we reject the Living God. Those who live in the ways of the world and the flesh are still under Satan’s original deception! They believe that members of humanity are their own god while setting up a modern technological god as being God. That modern god is full of knowledge, proclaiming what is good or evil for each individual. The simplicity of the Cross of Christ has nothing to do with a wealth of knowledge, nor to master a knowledge of good and evil, and definitely not to seek equality with God. The simplicity of the Cross of Christ is that Jesus Christ was crucified for our sin so that we can be reconciled to God to redeem us from Adam and Eve’s fall. “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

The Message of the Cross is a stumbling block to those building the New World Order within this technological age. The modern god is not able to fit the Cross of Christ into their building plans. The simplicity of believing in the remission of sin by faith in what Christ did for us on the Cross is a stumbling block to them! With the massive tons of knowledge coming through the modern technological god, they are not able to persuade those who follow the simplicity that is in Christ Jesus. This is why persecution of the Children of God is increasing from day to day, and the environment is being set for the rise of the ant-Christ. The solution from those who believe Satan’s deception, that the tree of death is ripe with knowledge and the knowing of good and evil, are seeking to steal, kill, and destroy the simplicity that flows from the Cross of Christ. They are seeking to rid the world from words and behaviors that leads others to what Christ has done for us on the Cross. They detest obedience to the Living God because they insist on obedience to their god of knowledge, which comes through the technological god, and originated with Satan’s deception of Adam and Eve.

Christ gave His life on the Cross to bring remission of sin to a sin-sick world. In that process, we receive the Fruit of the Holy Ghost which includes Love, Mercy, Compassion, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Patience, and Perseverance towards the sin-sick soul. This simple message is a stumbling block to those building a world on a god based on a technological powerhouse of information. We who are born by the Cross of Christ separate ourselves from ungodly knowledge, worldly wisdom, and from thinking we know our own way based on knowing good and evil. We dedicate ourselves to the simplicity that is in Christ. Those building this New World Order have rejected the Chief Cornerstone which is Christ! Something is very skewed in this world of tumult and raging unrest. There is a simple solution; believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

“And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed”  “…but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,” ” “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

  1. I love the title “Spiritual Fruit Without Religion”! Sometimes when I am saying something about Jesus, the person I’m speaking with will try to cut me off by saying something like “I’m not religious.” I reply, “Neither was He. Religious people hated Him.”
