Wikipedia says, “The cornerstone (or foundation stone or setting stone) is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.” If you get the cornerstone wrong, you get the whole layout of the building wrong! Jesus Christ is referred to as the head corner stone. If you get the Cross of Christ wrong, you get everything else wrong as well. Whatever you are building, if you get the Cross wrong, the whole building is going to be off kilter. When Peter referred to Christ as the, “head of the corner,” he was talking to rulers, elders, and scribes. Whether you are laying the blueprint for government rule, or a blueprint for Church leadership, or a blueprint for written material, if you get Jesus wrong you get everything else wrong! We all know the battle raging in America about our ability to serve the living God. As it stands, one of America’s greatest exports is the Bible, the Message of the Cross. If governments of the world get the Cross of Christ wrong, it will set the whole foundation of global rule off balance as well. Already, we know that the Message of the Cross is seldom, if at all, preached in the Churches nowadays. Because the Church has Christ set off-center, everything else they do is off-center, and it is no longer a Church that honors the Living God. Since government leadership and Church leadership has the Cross wrong, then we know every written material from those sources is wrong as well. Fake news and propaganda seems to be common terms in this modern era.
The remission of sin is what the Message of the Cross is all about. Just imagine a world with drug epidemics in every city, a high rate of alcoholism, ever increasing poverty rates, and all sorts of rage and violence in every sector of society. Oh, yeah, that really is our world today! Something is off-base as the sin problem continues to explode out of control instead of being brought into remission. Whoever the builders are of the New World Order, they have ignored the head of the corner! If the world gets the Cross of Christ wrong, everything else will be wrong also. The global builders are systematically attacking the belief in God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. They have set the cornerstone of the Trinity aside as they attempt o build a world of “Tolerance,” “Oneness,” and “Unity.” They have turned to a modern god that is internalized through indoctrination efforts of governments, the Church, and through informational sources. The Cross of Christ came to bring reconciliation to God, remission of sin, and baptism with the Holy Ghost. If we get that wrong then the idea of God is skewed, the understanding of grace is skewed, and the Holy Ghost becomes skewed to just being the goodness of the human spirit.
We are the Temple of God, not the temple of government rulers, elders, and scribes. The only rightful occupants within our House is God the Father, His Son, and the Holy Ghost. Anything that attempts to crowd out that Trinity is rejecting the chief cornerstone. To reject that cornerstone is to set everything within us off-balance. Our beliefs about alcohol and drug use, our response to poverty, our attitude about conflict, violence, protests, and riots all stem from what is happening within the Temple of God. To reject the Cross of Christ is to deny God His rightful place in the House, and rejecting the remission of sin through Christ is to reject the work of the Holy Ghost in us. In other words, a blueprint that has a skewed cornerstone will give Satan the latitude to increase the sin problem in world governments, the Church, and in media presentations. We know that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon! What Christ did for us at the Cross is the only cornerstone from which to build the Temple of God.
“And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes, And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:5-12
